Recognize and learn about circle again

Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing:
The lesson was about the circle shape. The student recognize about circle shapes, and to follow the dots
and cut the paper to make circle shapes. The activity was the student crush the paper to make circle
shape and the second activity was to cut the pper because I want the student develop their fine motor
skill. The student will learn how to cut the paper. In the activity I will let student to stick and color the
circle.

Who is the lesson for?
Where did the lesson take place?
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?
The lesson was for pre-kinder student and the activities for the all level. The lesson was in the classroom
in the circle area. And the whole activity was in the front of the class. I make sure all student knows to
cut and make circle shapes.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
How well did you engage the students?
The student asked me question that showed me they were learning and understand what I was teaching
them. After they finish the activity I ask them question such as what is this shape. I engaged the student
by singing the wheel of the bus go round and round .

My lesson meets my goals because in the end of the class most of them know how to cut the paper by
following the dots and to cut the paper to make the circle shapes. And the student was doing the
activities well and they asked me about the ant which show me that they understand the lesson. I assess
my student in the end.

In the future I will show them model for each activity to make it clear for them what they should do.
