United In Love
After a crazy first few weeks of the
semester we have so much to tell you.
We had a great time connecting with
our team and students during a
launch retreat up in the mountains.
The students who attended were so
excited and had great ideas for how
we could reach new students arriving
at UNC. Following our retreat, four
women arrived from a partner church
of ours in Wisconsin. They helped us
move new students into the dorms,
do surveys, and run some of our first
outreach events. By the first day of
classes we had collected over 1,000
spiritual interest surveys from
students! Since then, we’ve been
reconnecting with those students and
sharing the gospel with them. As a
result 7 students have received Christ
as their Savior and several more have
started getting involved in a Cru Bible
study or attending our weekly

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have
the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God,
namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

have clarity in what he believes and
the fact that the plane was about to
leave illustrated how he felt like his
spiritual journey was just beginning. I
thought this was a great description
of the way so many freshman enter
