Focus: The MST Objective: For student teachers to begin to understand the diverse nature of teaching by observing a teacher for the day. Procedure 1. Using the following checklist, observe the teacher throughout the day. 2. Write down what her/his roles and responsibilities were on the blank table, and record how many minutes she spent on each activity. 3. Did the teacher do anything not on the checklists? Record what else she did. 4. What activities did you do/help the teacher with today?
