Angel Tree Collection: Week of December 3 to 7

We sincerely appreciate the generosity of Arklan families!
In the spirit of giving, we are asking for donations to the Family and Children’s
Services Angel Tree Program in lieu of teacher gifts. We are also supporting the
Interval House Angel Tree program this season. Every class has the name of an
Angel Tree child, most of an age similar to their students. Each Angel Tree child
has a wish list which we hope to fill, through donations of new unwrapped
gifts. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and will be used to pur-
chase gifts for these children. We thank you in advance for your support!

Snow days...they’re inevitable!! Please check www.steo.ca for

bus cancellations. Snow day notices are also posted on Arklan’s
Facebook page. Please do not call the school or the bus compa-
ny to inquire about cancellations.
Remember, there’s no need to call the school if your child will
be absent because their bus is cancelled. BUT, please do con-
tact us if your child is not a bus student, and is staying home on
a “snow-day”.
