Human Biology is an introductory course acquainting the student with basic human
anatomy and physiology. This is a good introductory course for A&P.

Attendance: Attendance is REQUIRED. TCC policy states that only registered

students are allowed in the classroom. This means do not bring family, friends, or
children to lecture.
TCC student handbook states:
1. Students are expected to be on time to class and attend all scheduled class and lab
meetings.
2. Being absent from class does not excuse a student from the material covered
during the absence.
3. If a student misses more than 20 percent of scheduled class/lab meetings, this may
be defined as unsatisfactory attendance.
4. The instructor will NOT withdraw a student from class; this is entirely the
responsibility of the student. If you stop attending class you will receive an
“F” for the course.
