Check Out Our Newest Resource: hoopla

hoopla is new digital media service through
which you may access and enjoy over half a mil-
lion titles, from six different formats: Movies,
TV, Music Albums, eAudiobooks, eBooks, and
Comics/Graphic Novels. With hoopla, there are
no hold lists, no extra apps or accounts needed
or special steps to use it. And they’re all availa-
ble in one location, from your computer, tablet
or Smartphone!

On a mobile device, borrowed content may be

temporarily downloaded and accessed offline.
Additionally, either in the app or on a comput-
er, all borrowed content may be enjoyed while
connected to the internet by streaming.

hoopla is easy to use and provides our library

patrons instant access (without any waiting) to
any titles they want. As a library cardholder, you
may borrow up to 5 titles per month. To register

WWPL Receives LSTA Grant for MakerSpace

The Westfield Washington Public Library is happy to
announce that we recently received an LSTA grant,
enabling us to purchase a mobile MakerSpace to
further expand our STEAM programming both in-
side and outside of the library. (STEAM stands for
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.)
Many young library patrons already enthusiastically
attend our library programs that explore these
areas. We have purchased new STEM and STEAM
components including a 3D printer, Bloxels, Little
Bits, Keva planks, Sphero ball shaped robots, Dot
and Dash iPad programmable robots, and Snap

few. The generous LSTA (Library Services and Tech-

Part of the library’s goal is to provide STEAM and

components and cart here in the building, but we
