Business Battle
Objective: To connect Industries and corporate to innovative ideas of students.
Participants: Any graduate or group of graduates with innovation having market
potential.
Tentative date: December
Industries are looking forward to various innovative ideas to grow and
expand in different verticals, on the other hand students with innovative idea are lacking
recognition and devoid of opportunities. Tim is looking forward to connect such
stakeholders through its Business Battle platform. This event also intends to connect
different innovators and form a network of self help group and magnifying the effects of
innovation though exchange of their domain knowledge.
i.e Engineering students gaining knowledge of market (PPP,STP) from management
student or Management students seeking help from engineering domain in development
of product with market potential.
We hope to start and organize this event on sustainable basis
Agenda for the year 2018-2019
Venue: TIM
Theme: Innovation for tomorrow
Major teams and College participating: Teams shall include hybrid or diversified
members. A merger of management Engineering and architecture depending upon the
project. Diversified team is not prerequisite, also the size of the team will not be a
constraint. Individual participant are also welcomed. There shall be no age barrier. Any
aspirant with innovation can be a participant.
Project: Project could be a solution for modern day problem or can be a prospective
solution for problem arising in future. The project can be a working model or elaborative
presentation with market potentials
College: All Institute under the TKM brand is expected to participate also any college
within and outside Kerala.
Sponsors: Sponsors are the stakeholders of the event as they will harness the innovation
presented in the event. Eg (IT Industry, Mechanical Industry, etc)
Promotion: It will include students from Tim going to institute of technology and
School of Architecture sensitizing and initiating hybrid team.

TACT 2019-2020
Mission: To use the college resource and Infrastructure to the fullest and to simulate the
real life business environment in campus leading to skill development of participants.

Project 1
TACT will try to simulate the real word businesses environment in the form of STOCK
EXCHANGE where tact will enact like SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India)
and NIFTY would be PPS score. Four major companies competing would be respective
house.
Operations
Each Tuesday or Friday (in some cases) will be allotted to houses respectively. The
allotted house will be responsible for smooth conduction of the activity assigned by the
club and faculty. Including inviting guest speakers maintaining discipline etc. The house
is responsible for designing activity that involves both physical and mental engagement
by the participants in activity though innovation and also inducing and enhancing the
competitive nature in participants. Eg (Activity conducted by finance club dividing
the participants in team assigning each team to prepare financial planning in
limited time span).
Objectives for project 1.1
 To increase the skill set of participants.
 To increase the engagement and competency of participants.
 To encourage team spirit.

Assessment
 Assessment will be done by the club Faculty in-charge of teams and overall.
 Can award prize to winners based on houses discretion (without collecting the
funds from campus).
 Faculty Should ensure that 25% of the time is devoted to theory 50% in activity
and 25% in evaluation.
 Faculty incharge will award PPS score to the house based on their activity
designing and operations.

Scoring Pattern
o The year will divided in 4 quarters three months each in a quarter.
o Cumulative PPS score of each house will be taken based on activities conducted by
them.
o An initial IPO of Rs 40 will be taken by the Participant with TACT Fund
 At the end of every quarter the participant performs the role of investor where he
or she will invest in one of the companies (houses) by assessing their PPS score
strength and weakness key players historical records in anticipation of their
performance in next quarter etc. TACT will be responsible for handling shares of
each company (house).
 The best performing company will draw all the money and their stakeholders will
make money.
 The money will be withdrawn by the stakeholders at the end of the years.
 No additional money will be added in the system at any cost after IPO.(As its
simulation not business)

TACT media: TACT will have to make media team that will mail the latest updates of
each company and predicting their future with unbiasness educating the stakeholders
TACT will be responsible to conduct the activity with honesty and keep a check on
malpractices or horse trading by houses and award negative PPS score with consent
of faculty members if found so.

Objective project 1.2:


 The exercise will help the participant to become smart investors and compelled to
analyze SWOT before investing
 Will create exposure to TACT members to handle responsibility in pressure and
public revenue.
INNOVATION
(No idea is small)
Objective: To provide platform facilitate and nurture participants ideas and
innovation.

Expectation: We are expecting the students to come up with innovative ideas that
will enhance the process of overall system or academics.

Process: Two participants will be taking responsibility of collecting such ideas


and assisting the participants to convey such in written form to authority.

Example: Having an FM radio in campus.

(Christmas CSR Activity)

Christmas 2k18 being the first Christmas of Tim 24 in


campus. Lets set new Standards by celebrating Christmas with
school children’s and being real Santa Claus in their lives. The
activity includes spending quality time with them. Assisting the
school to organize Christmas party in an unforgettable manner.
