The high-precision melting and feeding

Hotmelt, Wax system transfers glue pellets, wax, etc. into its
liquid form and keeps the necessary
temperature constant. When the hotmelt
application valve is driven, the hotmelt
device pumps the liquid glue through heated
tubes to the valves, where it is applied to the
surface of the substrate at constant
temperature.

Feeding systems for high-precision and

Battery slurry pulsation-free dosage and control of highly
viscous slurries in particular for the coating of
cathodes and anodes of Li-Ion battery cells.

not cause any changes in the fluid
properties. The FMP degassing systems are,
depending on the application, designed to
suit small or even very high quantities of fluid.

FMP TECHNOLOGY GMBH
In 2006, FMP TECHNOLOGY GMBH was
founded as a corporate spin-off of the
Institute of Fluid Mechanics at the University
of Erlangen. It has the aim of taking up
scientific research work to provide a basis
for developing novel, innovative products
and bringing them to market.

FMP COATING TECHNOLOGY

In the area of coating technology, one of
the developments of FMP TECHNOLOGY
GMBH concerns novel coating dies. Unlike
conventional coating dies, these allow, for
the first time, the application of widely
varied fluids with only one coating die
without any quality reduction. In contrast,
coating dies currently available on the
market as a rule need to be specially
designed to suit a specific coating fluid, so
that, up to now, users have had to invest in
many different coating dies.

FMP DRYING TECHNOLOGY

In the area of drying, FMP offers a new
generation of so-called diffusion dryers,
which have an efficiency that is 4 times
