What are the wiring harness color codes for DEH, DEHP, KEH, KEHP car stereos (1999

models)
and KE, DEH and KEH car stereos (models prior to 1999)?
Description of the wiring harness color codes for DEH, DEHP, KEH, KEHP high power car
stereos (1999 models); KE low power car stereos (prior to 1999), and DEH and KEH high power
car stereos (prior to 1999)

Before 1999 - Low Power Car Stereo KE models only:


GREEN is the left front positive
GREEN WITH RED STRIPE is the left rear positive
GRAY is the right front positive
GRAY WITH RED STRIPE is the right rear positive
BLACK is the negative for all speakers
RED is the switched power
ORANGE is the constant power
BLUE is the trigger for amp or power antenna
YELLOW is to lighting switch terminal.
Connect a ground wire from the center post on the back of the radio to chassis ground

Before 1999 - High Power Car Stereos DEH & KEH models only:
GREEN is the left front positive
GREEN/BLACK is the negative
GREEN/RED is the left rear positive
BLACK/GREEN is the negative
GRAY is the right front positive
GRAY/BLACK is right front negative
GRAY/RED is right rear positive
BLACK/GRAY is the right rear negative
RED is the Acc lead
ORANGE is for memory
BLACK is ground (-)
BLUE is for power antenna
YELLOW is to lighting switch terminal

1999 models - High Power Car Stereos DEH & DEHP , KEH & KEHP
WHITE is the left front speaker positive
WHITE/BLACK is the left front speaker negative
GREEN is the left rear speaker positive
GREEN/BLACK is the left rear speaker negative
GREY is the right front speaker positive
GREY/BLACK is the right front speaker negative
VIOLET is the right rear speaker positive
VIOLET/BLACK is the right rear speaker negative
YELLOW is to terminal always supplied with power
RED is to terminal controled by ignition switch
BLACK is chassis ground
BLUE/WHITE is to system control of power amp or power antenna
ORANGE is to lighting switch terminal.

DFS Alarm:
WHITE is the door trigger - +/-
BROWN is the pulsed output - + (500ma max)

DFS Alarm +:
WHITE is the door trigger - +/- Input
WHITE/ORANGE is the remote disarm - (+/-) Input
BLUE/BROWN is the starter disable - (+) Output (500ma)
WHITE/RED is the auxiliary trigger - (-) Input
BROWN is the switchable pulse/constant output - (+) Output (500ma)
