Non-Minority Medical and Dental Professional Institutions in the State - Fixation of
the fee structure for the students admitted into Professional Courses for the
academic year 2017-18 – Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:

In the G.O 1st read above, orders were issued for fixation of the fee structure
and certain directions in respect of Under Graduate Medical / Dental courses in
Private Unaided Non Minority Colleges in the State for the academic year 2016-17 as
follows:-

MEDICAL

Sl. No. Category Tuition Fee per annum

1 A category (50%) Rs.60,000/-
2 B category (35%) Rs.11,00,000/-
3 C category (15%) Upto maximum of 2 Times
of "B" Category.

Notes:- 1. Tuition fee is payable annually for five academic years.

2. The students who were admitted into the course prior to

2016 shall continue to pay every year same annual fee at
the rate existing at the time of their admission till they
complete their course.

3. The student shall pay the same tuition fee for the entire
course period, as paid at the time of admission.

4. The Institution shall collect the tuition fee every year in

advance only for that particular year.

5. The managements of the institutions may seek Bank

Guarantee for tuition fee chargeable for every succeeding
year.
DENTAL

Tuition Fee per annum

Sl. No. Category
1 A category (50%) Rs.45,000/-

2 B category (35%) Rs.4,00,000/-

3 C category (15%) Rs.5,00,000/-

Notes:- 1. Tuition fee is payable annually for four academic years.

2. The students who were admitted into the course prior to 2016 shall
continue to pay every year same annual fee at the rate existing at the
time of their admission till they complete their course.

3. The student shall pay the same tuition fee for the entire course period, as
paid at the time of admission.

4. The Institution shall collect the tuition fee every year in advance only for
that particular year.

5. The managements of the institutions may seek Bank Guarantee for tuition
fee chargeable for every succeeding year.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the President, Telangana Private Medical &
Dental Management Association has requested to revise the existing fee structure
keeping in view of the financial constraints of the education institution for the
academic year 2017-18.

3. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby decided not
to increase the fee for Category A seats, Government also decided to increase 5 %
tuition fee for category B seats and in respect of C category, the fee shall not
exceed two (2) times of "B" Category seats for the present academic year 2017-18
and order that the fee structure shall be implemented by all the Private Un-aided
Non-Minority Medical and Dental Colleges duly following the directions mentioned in
G.O. 1st read above. These orders are applicable to the Private Un-aided Non-
Minority Medical and Dental Professional Institutions in the State for the academic
year 2017-18, and shall come into force with immediate effect.
4. The Principals of all Private Unaided Non-Minority Medical and Dental
Colleges shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
