Data Services General Information (4G LTE and 3G

Networks)
Basics of Using Your Data Services.

4G LTE
The 4G LTE network provides your phone with wireless Internet access over greater distances
than Wi-Fi and delivers data transfer rates of up to 60 Mbps to connect your phone to the 4G
LTE network, you must be in an area covered by the 4G LTE network.

For more information about the availability of 4G LTE service in various locations, visit link
below:

Note: The availability and range of the network depends on a number of factors including your
distance to the base station, and infrastructure and other objects through which the signal
passes.

Set the Network Options

1. From home, swipe up to access Apps.

2. Tap Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode.

3. Select CDMA, LTE / CDMA, GSM / UMTS, or Automatic.

 The phone will scan for the best available Lite Speed network and will automatically
connect to it.

When your phone is connected using 4G LTE, LTE appears above the signal strength
indicator in the status bar.

Note: The LTE networks are self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are required
for the phone to connect to them.

Data Connection Status and Indicators

Your phone displays the current status of your data connection through indicators at the top of
the screen. The following symbols are used:

Icon Status

Network (full signal): The fullness of the triangle icon indicates the strength of the signal.
A fuller icon means a better signal.

4G LTE data service: Your phone is connected to a 4G LTE network.

Troubleshooting Mobile Internet Settings

(APNs)
If you are having trouble connecting to the internet from your smartphone or
tablet, especially if you are using a new CEC-Liquid SIM card, there could be
a problem with the configuration of your internet settings. Luckily, these

problems are easy to fix. In a majority grad.txt of cases, if you have a working
CEC-Liquid SIM card and an active mobile plan, these settings should be
automatically sent to your phone by CEC-Liquid as your carrier. If not, you
only need to make an adjustment to the Access Point Name (APN) in your
phone's settings to get online.

Android Phones
Go to [Settings] > [Wireless and Networks] > [More Networks] > [Cellular Networks] >
[Access Point Names]

Here there should be a list of APNs associated with your CEC-Liquid SIM card. If you
don't see any APNs, hit the [Plus Icon] + to see an empty Access Point edit page.

Follow the instructions below for your Telco in this case CEC-Liquid, entering in details
into the necessary fields, then press [Menu] > [Save]. See screenshot examples of real
troubleshooting scenario for a client below:
Note: The APN details are case sensitive, often all in LOWER CASE.

iPhone / iPad

Go to [Settings] > [Cellular] > [Cellular Data Network]

Mobile carriers can restrict access to these settings, so you might find the options listed
below are not visible on the client’s device.

APN Settings

Below are the details to enter into the client’s device if they are not listed already. Note, the
APN details are case sensitive, often all in lower case.

The name you give to the settings doesn't matter, though it might be helpful to name it
after the carrier. You should leave blank any fields that are left blank in the table. If only
one column is filled in, then you can use the same APN setting for both internet data
and MMS. Otherwise, make two.

CEC-Liquid SIM/4G LTE

TheCEC-Liquid LTE SIM (SIMthing BIG) will provide, of course an LTE

(4G) signal, CEC-Liquid LTE SIM (SIMthing BIG) has some extra
features like, huge contact space, additional services and extra menus.

CEC-Liquid LTE SIM (SIMthing BIG) APN Settings/Configuration

 Profile name: any name (but in this case liquid)

 APN: liquid
 Authentication Protocol: Uncheck CHAP, and check PAP

CEC-Liquid LTE SIM and Device Combination

Let’s apply a simple logic, as some users experiencing signal drops

from LTE (4G) to 3G.

 CEC-Liquid regular sim will yield = 3G network.

 CEC-Liquid LTE SIM = 4G network.

1. 3G sim + LTE device/phone = 3G network.

2. Subscribe to CEC-Liquid LTE SIM promo using 3G SIM + LTE
device/phone = 4G network (Might not work all the time).
3. *CEC-Liquid LTE SIM + LTE device/phone = up to 4G network
(Recommended and should work all the time).
4. CEC-Liquid LTE SIM + 3G device/phone = up to 3G network.
*(Which most clients have)

*Note: It is recommended to use the third combination, as this may give

better results, pictures are provided below for references.
