Post Lesson Reflection

Overall aim and context of the lesson – (Brief description)

the aim of my lesson was to teach the children the lower case "t" and sound of letter "t", with showing
them some objective and picture that start with the letter "t" to develop and add new vocab in their
knowledge. Also, show them a group of the picture some of them start with the letter "t" and other not
then ask them which picture start with letter "t" to identify the words which start with "t".
Finally, teach them how to write the lower case "t" by following the dots.

Discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well about the
successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

I think my activities were very well and it is successful, the material and the group work strategy
helped to success the activity. The student shows me what they did in the areas that mean they get the
lesson well and understand the activities.
The second thing I felt successful is engaging, because the children were listen to me well and mostly
they were quiet. The third thing I really happy for it is my language, it was very good and my MST
mention that also.

Discuss an aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred
and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

The problem I faced in this TP is the children number they are 28, and I think it is too much, so I can't
manage them well. Also, the cleanup transition was the reason for the mess, because when they
finished writing in small whiteboard, I took it, it will be better if I tell two students to collect it.

Consider your classroom management?

Next time I will use the bell for the transition and stop the noise. Also, I will not divide them into
groups for the activity; I think it will be better to do it, whole class, together.

Did you achieve your objectives? Did the children learn? How do you know this?

Yes, I achieve all objective because the children explore the words started with the letter "t" in the areas
and repeated the sound of the letter "t" more than one time before saying the words, for example, "t t t
title" and so on also they write the lower case "t" during the activity.
