Post Lesson Reflection

Overall aim and context of the lesson – (Brief description)

My lesson aimed to teach the children to recognize the parts of the plant " root, stem, leaves, flower.",
with showing them a real plant parts, then name the parts of the plant by using the fine and gross motor
that will help them to list the parts of the plant by connecting it with their body parts.

Discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well about the
successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

I think the behavior management strategy played the main part of the classroom management and
success of the lesson; I use the happy face for the good behavior students and sad face for the
misbehavior students, and that really successful.
also, the welcoming was excellent I tried to let them moving at the beginning of the class by singing
and shake their hand to be quiet during the circle time.
Discuss an aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred
and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

I didn’t manage my time well, where I took a long time in the circle, and that is the reason for children
felt boring and start to misbehavior, because the maximum is fifteen min in the circle, then the children
can't focus, and I took more than fifteen min, next time I will be careful with the time management.

Consider your classroom management?

I used the bell to manage my class, I think I improve my management skill because the management
was better than the last two lesson.

Did you achieve your objectives? Did the children learn? How do you know this?

I think I achieve all my objective, at least half of the class identify the parts of the plant, and in my
opinion, it is a reasonable rate for me as a trainee teacher, I observed the children during the activity
areas time, they were named the parts of the plant

Next time I will try to organize and manage my time well.
