Post Lesson Reflection

Overall aim and context of the lesson – (Brief description)

The aim of my lesson to teach the children to use single words to name people like giant and poor. And
describe the ractions like angry and happy, Finally, use simple phrases to share information between
each other.
Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss (one paragraph each) according
to following:

Discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well about the
successful strategy/ resource/activity/management style etc.

I used the puppet theatre to representation the story, and this worked well more than read story from the
book, so that is the good resource I used in the lesson because it is the reason of children engag and
entertaining.
Discuss an aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem was, why it occurred
and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

there is one problem I faced in this lesson when the children moved to areas and saw the tablet in the
reading area, all of them runed to reading area, so I took a long time to divide them into other learning
centers to do another activities.

Consider your classroom management?

The management was very good until I told them about moving to the learning centers, I think I have to
be more firm.

Did you achieve your objectives? Did the children learn? How do you know this?

I achieved three of the objectives. The children used single words in the dice activity and used the
simple phrases as I like, and I don't like. Also, I asked them about their feeling happy or angry to see
their actions, and so on, so I depended on asking to know if I achieved my object or not.

I will focus how to develop the management for next lesson.
