Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

In the beginning of the lesson I will check student’s homework if they have one.

Teacher: Today we will learn about how to write sentences. Now we will watch a short video about how to
write a sentence. Pay attention. Because afterword I will ask you different questions. After the students
have watch the video. Teacher will say T: turn and talk to your friends in the group about what you saw in
the video. Teacher will give students 10 min to discuss what they saw then. Teacher will use timer to manage
the time for the students. After that Teacher will choose 3 students randomly using class dojo. The 3
students will share their thoughts and ideas about how to write a sentence.

After that teacher will model by showing the students 4 simple sentences that she will use to explain to the
students how to write a complete sentence. T: I will write a sentence on the board to show the students
how to write and form a proper sentence. While the teacher is writing her sentences, she will remind the
students about some of the important writing rules. For instance: we always start our sentence with a
capital letter and end the sentence with a full stop. T: Also make sure that you have to make spacing
between the words in your sentence to make it clearer to the person who will read it.

After that, Teacher will put class dojo points for the students by asking the students to put the point to
themselves. T: Ok, the one who have the green square came and touch your name to get a point. moreover,
Time: 15 min

students with red square will loss points.

Active Engagement (group working with the teacher)

Teacher: Now we will do fun activity together. I want every group to pay attention to listen and see without
helping each other. Each group will have one small whiteboard the leader of the group will be responsible
for write the answer. After the group have to see the different sentences in the board and have to see what’s
wrong in the sentence. In the groups the students first must talk and discuss together for 10 mints. After
that the group leader must write the correct sentence in the small board. and the group who finishes must
stay quite in their place. Finally, teacher will check students work and give the group points in class dojo by
using a small cone.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1) Master students

Students will have to form a correct sentence using the dice to make a sentence. So, the students will have

a dice that have different words. First, they will take turns when they throw it so for instance students
number one: have to throw the dice and the dice landed on the word “every”. Then the student must form
and write a complete sentence using the word every and so on.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2): developing students

Students in this group will have to create their own sentences using the playdoh. Firstly, the students
must write their sentences on their note book after that teacher will check their sentences and give them
feedback. After that, students will start to use the playdoh to create their sentences.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3) emerging:

Students will have different words that. They have to order the cards and place them in the right order. to
make a complete sentence. So, the words have to be in the right order.

Recap on the lesson. T: So today we learned about how to write a sentence in a correct way. What we should
use when we start writing out sentence? How do we know if the sentence in correct?

We use capital letter to start our sentences with and full stop to end it. We have to make sure to make

space between the words in the sentence. Also, to make sure to make our sentence have a complete
thought and idea.
