Title: Learning Parts of Speech

Subject Area: English

Grade Level(s): 3th Grade

Objective:
After completing this lesson, students will be able to
understand and identify the function of nouns, pronouns,
adjectives, and verbs. Students will also be able to apply
various parts of speech into everyday sentences within the
classroom.

The introduction is the means by which that we can become better speakers and writers. Tell students
you will get students engaged and wanting that today they will be learning about what a noun, pronoun,
to learn. This could be adjective, and verb is and how to find them in a sentence.

Lesson Procedure:
The lesson procedure includes what you
are going to teach and how. Be sure to
include the day to day breakdown.
At the beginning of each day, I will introduce the lesson by
using a wordcloud to show examples of the part of speech.

After analyzing the word clouds, I will be using Edpuzzle to
inform and quiz my students as they learn about the different
parts of speech to check their understanding.

Students will be assigned a part of speech depending on the
lesson of the day, and will incorporate the word given into a
sentence. Students will then pair up and identify the correct
usage of the part of speech.
