A. Before the lesson:

What are the things that we should consider for us to be healthy?
2. Unlocking of difficulties:
Using a dictionary, give the meaning of each word.

1. Presentation:
a. Read this year’s Nutrition Month Theme.
“ Healthy Diet, Gawing Habit ( For Life)”
b. What does it mean?
2. Discussion:
a. How can one have a healthy diet? What is healthy diet?
b. Why should healthy diet be a habit for life?
c. Is healthy diet important? Why?
3. Guided activity:
Group the pictures on the board into two- Group A/ Group B. Tell why each
picture was put in that particular group.

4. Generalization:
What does “Healthy Diet, Gawing habit (For Life) “ mean?

C. After the lesson:


1. Group activity:
Make a poster that will show the meaning of this year’s Nutrition Month Theme,
“Healthy Diet, Gawing Habit (For Life)”.
After the activity the group representative will share the group’s ideas.
The group will be assessed based on these Rubrics for Group Activity.
