Lab – Research Building a Specialized Laptop

In this lab, you will use the Internet, a newspaper, or a local store to gather information about building a
specialized laptop that supports hardware and software that allows a user to perform tasks that an off-the-
shelf system cannot perform. Be prepared to discuss your selections.
For this lab, assume the customer’s system will be compatible with the parts you order.
1. The customer runs an audio and video editing workstation to record music, create music CDs, CD labels, and
to create home movies. The customer wishes to upgrade the components listed in the table.

considering that they have enough money to upgrade their computer. Based off of this information I chose
some of the higher-end options in order to make their work not only faster, but of a higher quality.
