The term "Nano Technology" is derived from this word nano. It aims at making smaller and still smaller machines replacing the big ones. The concept of nano technology explains the new nano model car introduced by Tata-India.

The progress of the modern science has made it easier now to
understand the full import of the things said 1400 years ago.
In Roman language, Nano means the digit “9”, in which the
first digit “1” is called Mono, the digit “2” Di, the digit “3” Tri and so on, similarly the digit “9” is called Nano. The term “Nano Technology” is derived from this word Nano. Nano-Technology aims at making smaller and still smaller machines replacing the big ones.
The concept of Nano technology explains the new nano
model car introduced by Tata-India. The stress is on smaller size and better efficiency. We can take the example of a tiny insect like mosquito. Allah cites the example of the mosquito in the Holy Qoran, “Indeed Allah is not ashamed to refer to the tiniest insect like the mosquito or even smaller than mosquito” (Surah Al Baqar- Ayat Number-26).
Let us have a look at the special structure of the mosquito.
Latest research tells us that this tiny mosquito has got 100 eyes, 48 teeth and 3 hearts which work simultaneously; it has got a trunk to suck blood. It consists of 6 needle like capillaries used for different purposes. It has got 6 wings. It is capable of seeing in the dark by using its infra red rays. It benumbs the spot in the human body before it pierces the flesh. Human feels pain not because of the piercing by the trunk but because of the blood sucking. The mosquito sucks only the kind of blood it likes and it does not accept other kinds of blood. In addition to this the mosquito thins the blood before it sucks it because human blood is too thick for its tiny capillaries. This tiny mosquito creates such a high frequency sound over the human body that it wakes the man up. This buzzing sound comes from the high vibration of its wings. It is no less than a miracle of nature that such a tiny insect performs a very complex system of actions to breathe, to fly, to suck blood and so on.
It shows that a very small machine can perform very great
functions. This idea is at the root of “Nano-Technology”. Scientists are engaged in research to find out how to make smallest machines that occupy smaller space, less material and yet perform big functions.
In the past we had big radios, Tvs and computers etcetera.
But today the trend is towards smaller sizes of machines. The future belongs to Nano-Technology. Today we can store vast data in a small flash drive for which we needed a large number of registers, files, floppies and CDs. Now you keep the flash drive in your pocket or put it in your small key ring.
It is interesting to note that all matter in the universe is made
of tiny atoms which can be called particles (some scholars interpreted “Zarrah” in Holy Qoran as Atom). Atoms have been broken into 60 sub atomic particles, i.e. Electron, Proton, Neutron and positron etcetera. We are still unable to define the meanings and nature of “Zarrah” mentioned in the Holy Qoran. How can we then understand the exact meaning of the Hole Holy Quran? It is probably one of the reasons of the creation of different sects among Muslims.
The scientists agree on the point that it is possible to break
the sub atomic particles further into smaller ones. The universe consists of various planets, constellations of stars, galaxies and black holes. They say that the universe is still expanding. In other words we can say that we do not know the extent of the universe. The fact is that human intellect is yet not able to comprehend the tiniest or the biggest in the universal creation. We know neither the beginning nor the end of the universe. How can we understand the knowledge, power and might of the Creator, of the universe, Allah?
And we believe that Allah, the Creator, gave this knowledge
to His apostle, Mohammad (Swallallaho Alehe wo Aalehi Wasallam). Allah says in the Holy Qoran, “It (Holy Quran) contains all knowledge about things on land, in water or in the sky and in between”. (Surah Hud, Ayat number-6). The Prophet (Saww) says, “I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate”. Ali(Alehissalam) says that “The Prophet taught me knowledge as mother bird feeds its little one”. According to him (as) the Qoran revealed to the Prophet(saww) contains all knowledge of the universe. The essence of the Qoran lies in Surah Al-Hamd (Al- Fateha); the essence of the Surah Al-Fateha is contained in the word Bismillah; the essence of Bismillah is contained in its first letter “Be”; the essence of “Be” finally lies in its Point which is under the letter “Be”. Ali(as) says that he is the Point under the letter-Be”. So he(as) exerted people to learn knowledge from him before he was no more among them.
We know that it is probable that human mind might make
machines even smaller then the flash drive which may store limitless data. When the human can create machines storing limitless knowledge, how can it not be possible for the Creator to vest all knowledge in a Nuqta, POINT, Ali(as)?
