School is better with theatre (Parlamento Primary School

In our school we do an interesting activity we really love: theatre! Every year
we choose a different topic and we learn a lot of information about it, we
improve our knowledge through songs, drama and dance. We present it on
the stage. We are more than 100 students from 6 to 10 years old: the oldest
students support the youngest. Last year we presented “The Beatles in
England and our singers in Italy”.

POP: Pop music is one of the musical
interpretations that original from the

In our school two days a week we
speak English during lunch time at
the canteen: we talk about our meal
and every time teachers propose
conversation about new topics. We
are always very ex-cited! What we
like most is the fact that we can
learn all together, in a relaxing
atmosphere. Teachers are very
satisfied with this project because
we improve our speaking skill and
we realize that English is a real tool
of communication! -
"We meet our writer"

Last year 2nd and 5th class met a
famous writer, David Conati. In 2nd
class, we read his book “Strega
comanda colori” and we made a
show with music and words all
together: we created a new world
full of colors. It was amazing!Also in
5th class we were very happy and
excited to meet the writer. We read
his book “Il campione che sarò”, we
made him some questions, we
talked about “fair play” and we
listened to a song written in his
book all together: he is a very good
singer too!

On the 8th of November, V.P. a professional
photographer came to our school to teach
us photography. She will help us for the
photo contest Erasmus+.

2. Who took you into this job ?

Partly my father and photographers like
Raymond Depardon and my
photography teacher in Cardiff who
was also interested in people’s life. He
influenced me a lot.

3. Have you met some famous

photographers?
Yes, I have. I ‘ve met several: Josef
Koudelka who exhibited pictures of
nomad people in a show in Cardiff. At
Magnum, I’ve met a lot.

4. Where do you go to take pictures ?

show. I may have an order for a specific
project. When I set up an exhibition, I
can rent it and I sell my books and
pictures.

"Agriculture"

We love cinnamon buns in Finland

Ingredients
50g yeast
5dl lukewarm milk
2 eggs
2dl sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon
cardamom ca. 16dl all-
purpose flour
150-200g melted
butter

Finns loves cinnamon buns, korvapuusti. They are buns filled

with cinnamon, sugar and butter.Here is the recipe
1. In a large mixing bowl,combine milk,
150-200g melted butter, yeast, and sugar.
2.Stir in salt, cardamom, and eggs, then
gradually stir in 4 to 5 cups flour until dough
pulls away from the side of the bowl. Work
the dough until it is smooth, shiny, and has
lost most of its stickiness.
3.Cover with a towel, and allow to rise 1 hour
or until doubled.
4. Punch down dough, then divide in two
halves.
5. Roll each half into an rectangle: brush
each half with butter then sprinkle with brown
sugar and cinnamon .
6. Starting from the long side tightly roll each
half into a long “snake”; with a sharp knife,
make cuts every 2 inches to make rolls.
7. Place each roll on a cookie sheet. Cover
with clean towels and allow to rise.
8 . Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Brush each
roll with beaten egg, sprinkle with pearl sugar
and bake for 8 minutes.
