Dear Terri,

I am writing in heightened interest for the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program. Reagan, the school I currently enroll at, has
made it possible for the entire student body and I to have a wide variety of internship and apprenticeship opportunities, so this one was
suggested to me not too long ago. I was drawn in by the extension of skills you’d receive in a specific area, as I believe everyone has
an opening for self improvement, so the program pegged my interest immediately. Being an individual with a passion to excel and a
love for taking on new endeavors, this opportunity is something I feel would become a value for me more than not to be accepted into.

Throughout my life thus far, I’ve weaved myself out of the fear towards new experiences, and in that, I’m very intuitive to the world
around me. Being intuitive, or having a sense of open mindedness to my surroundings, came close to my usual caring attitude. A
prime example of this can be in the things I end up doing for my school’s newspaper, The Husky Howler. My passion for writing
alone is something I’m quite proud of, so when I joined the newspaper team I was, at first, very shy. It was something I did overcome,
which was huge for me, and I could finally open my passion to the world around me as I pleased. I also began to also connect with the
ideas around me so we’d conquer pieces with all around respect and interest in the topic. There’s something special in the creation a
team can carry into final production when they’re all filled with a similar passion. That being said, I’d definitely bring over those
qualities to an internship like this one.

I’ve always believed in the potential of growing as a person, thus my interest in taking on something so new and social is enormous
with this position. I want to be a valuable member to a team and pick up so many qualities I may not of had before the position. To
