Re: Marc Lamont Hill, Ph.D. [D.O.B. 12/17/1978]

The prior four letters demonstrated myriad reasons why Hill should be fired and Dean Boardman’s status
should be reassessed; Hill violated the four criteria defining expected conduct in the Faculty Handbook
and fomenting violence due to moral-turpitude exempts him from speech/academic-freedom protection.
The initial (12/9/2018) letter showed his anti-Jew, racist-anarchist rhetoric contravened the basic norms
[https://tinyurl.com/y6uer8u8, with Exhibit 3 [https://tinyurl.com/y6ujgqqw]; the second (12/11/2018)
letter expounded on the local/national implications of these concerns [https://tinyurl.com/yahfe2bm];
the third (12/12/2018) letter highlighted deficiencies in your Statement [https://tinyurl.com/y8dp24jk];
the fourth (12/14/2018) letter revealed Hill is an incorrigible ideologue, unapologetically defining a career
attacking “Afro-Palestinian” oppression as a result of global colonialism [https://tinyurl.com/y9xhvb9k].

“What you see is what you get,” for his adherence to Farrakhan is impermeable to the fact that society
views him a politically radioactive; the capacity to admit error is unlikely to emerge from someone who
claims “New York City police who are killing Blacks are being trained by Israelis” and “Israel Poisoned
Palestinian Water ” and “police and prisons should be abolished” {Extremely minor typos in the most
recent letter were fixed, such as the obvious fact that The War Between the States ended in 1865; also,
his 12/14/2018 interview was uploaded with analysis [https://thegrio.com/2018/12/15/marc-lamont-hill-
on-the-breakfast-club-speaks-about-getting-fired-from-cnn-i-dont-wish-any-harm-for-jewish-people/].}

Lest there be any doubt about the constancy of his exhortations, note again his goal of eliminating police
[https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=marc+lamont+hill+minnesota+speech&qpvt=marc+lamont+hil

DGAR @ 16-minute mark]; he explicitly links this to Israeli training of police in New York City and Chicago
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFIIWqcWsPU&t=347s&fbclid=IwAR03pPg8xYYar2ag0kEcNBjy6-
2qZE1AaxELQS8z6M9uiCl9W_3xtgAVAic @ 12-minute mark]; in the latter, he also advocates destruction
of capitalism [@ 10-minute mark] and states Temple is a “hostile academy that doesn’t want me there;
they definitely don’t want me there for talking about all this Palestine stuff” [@ 13-minute mark].

Recall he supports BDS/BLM [@ 28-minute mark] and claims it is insufficient merely to slap a soldier “that
has stolen my land, destroyed my village, killed my children, locked us out since 1948….If that’s the only
resistance that we accept in a post-Oslo moment then, again, we are constraining and domesticating the
resistance….We have allowed this nonviolent thing to become so normative that we are undermining our
ability to resist in real robust ways.” By overtly, aggressively rejecting nonviolence, he advocates violence
against the Israeli government for its survival since the “Nakba” in 1948 (as opposed to dating his anger
from 1967, which would allow for Israel’s existence in the region of the (repeatedly shrunken) Mandate.
{This Minnesota video was also discussed in the 12/12/2018 letter on page 2, recalling his being a Muslim
convert is counterpointed by the immediately-following video by Brigitte Gabriel about “Islamophobia.”}

As was emphasized in one call-out piece [http://www.israellycool.com/2018/12/09/watch-marc-lamont-
hill-im-going-plane-hijacker-leila-khaled-style/], when he said, “I’m Going Leila Khaled-Style,” [@ 31:40],
he was exhorting his audience to emulate a storied Palestinian Arab terrorist, as noted in this piece:

Leila Khaled, of course, is a PFLP terrorist who was the first female Palestinian plane
hijacker. She was part of a group that hijacked a flight from Rome to Athens in 1969 (the
nose of the plane was blown up after passengers were evacuated), and then participated
in an attempted hijacking a year later. She was carrying two hand grenades at the time.

Sounds a lot like Hill was glorifying terrorism, hoping to go out in a blaze of glory like a
terrorist plane hijacker.

And I’m sure that was his intention, judging by his “I’m probably fired right now” comment
right after saying it. Thankfully he turned out to be correct in this regard, albeit for other
vile comments [http://www.israellycool.com/2018/11/29/cnn-commentator-marc-
lamont-hill-endorses-israels-destruction-defends-palestinian-terrorism/].

Recall also that he only (repeatedly) repudiates Farrakhan regarding Judaism and LGBTQAI, thereby both
generally accepting his being profoundly racist and specifically failing to condemn his calls for violence
against Caucasians [https://dailycaller.com/2018/01/26/louis-farrakhan-barack-obama-nation-of-islam/]

“White people deserve to die, and they know, so they think it’s us coming to do it,”
Farrakhan said in 2015. He has also called white people “white devils,” “potential
humans” who “haven’t evolved yet” and “sinful by nature.”

having accrued 485 “likes”]. And recall how he rejected the non-violence of MLK-Jr./Gandhi during his
U.N. speech, the event that triggered scrutiny of his oeuvre-of-intersectionality-violence. Emphasis must
be placed upon this key-facet of his modus operandi, illustrated by the revelation that “Women’s March

It is possible that Steven Salaita intimidates [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Salaita_controversy],

noting that he obtained a substantial settlement after having litigated after termination of his tenured
professorship [https://www.amazon.com/Uncivil-Rites-Palestine-Academic-Freedom/dp/1608465772];
noted is the fact that Temple published his book “Israel's Dead Soul” [https://muse.jhu.edu/book/2515].
Remember, however, that the key-concerns are both the aforementioned anarchic-stances that never are
delinked from Temple, and the support for violence that is conveyed both indirectly (via code-words) and
directly (noting the above examples, culled from superficial Internet searches). He is slick…and dangerous.
That he is now emboldened to continue conveying his hate-speech should upset the Temple community;
that he is now aggressively embedding calls-for-violence within steel-reinforced concrete is unnerving.
Perhaps the only way to help him recognize he is out-of-control is to remove him from the Charles Chair.
