How to Set Up the Chemical Reactions

Timmy’s Room

1.) Find the vial of vinegar and pour all its contents into the fish tank.
2.) Find the vial of baking soda and pour all its contents into the fish tank.

My Shiny Teeth and Me

1.) Find the labelled Bunsen Burner (the large, black hose connected to the red metal).
2.) Attach the rubber pipe to the gas knob.
3.) Stick the vertical pipe into the hole of the room.
4.) Slightly turn on the gas knob (only twist about half an inch).
5.) Listen for the gas flow to ensure that the gas is on.
6.) Light a match over the top of the pipe (be careful!)
7.) Find the magnesium strip.
8.) Using the metal tongs, hold the magnesium strip over the flame until the reaction occurs.

Classroom

No reaction!
You have to take a math test. Roll to determine if you pass or fail. If you roll a one, two, three or
four, you pass the test and continue on! If you roll a five or six, you fail the math test and have to
go back to the start.

School Bus

1.) Find the vial of potassium iodide. Pour the contents on to the non-colored portion of the
petri dish over the school bus.
2.) Find the vial of lead nitrate. Pour the contents onto the potassium iodide.

Computer World

No reaction!
Timmy, Wanda, Cosmo and Poof all have gone to the computer world. However, all their past
experience in the mystical land was accompanied with their magical abilities. This time, the
characters could remain trapped in the world as they are without their wands. If you roll a 5, you
must call on the Crimson Chin, the superhero of Chincinnati, to come rescue you. This loss of
time forces you to go all the way back to the start. If you roll a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6, you may continue
and advance one square as a reward for your success.
Fairy Land

1.) Go up the rainbow path and land in the hole within the cardboard box labelled ‘End’.
2.) Press the game piece down once in the slot.
3.) Look at the magic you have created and the wands you have found!
