At 100 energy the boss will do a 5 cast combo which needs to be
handled by both tanks: Wake of Flame/Fire Lines Recommended Talents: (Defensive) Blessed Hammer, Bastion of Light, Blessing of Spellwarding

After each hit the debuff "Taeshalach's Reach" will be applied which
denotes a tank swap. ~5/6 stacks was the "sweet" spot however Recommended Talents:
casts may interrupt this as it's based on melee swings You can grip the small adds in the intermission.

The hit that cleaves onto the offtank "Taeshalach's Reach" can
be blocked/parried/dodged, so is counted as "Auto Attack" for Druid Tanking Stuff
the purposes of the breakdown above. Recommended Talents:

As the majority of damage taken on this encounter is via auto You can root/knockback the small adds in the intermission
attacks, this means that it can be blocked/parried/dodged.
Tank Assignments All Tanks
Ensure both tanks are nearby during the normal tanking phase Small adds are vulnerable to most types of CC. Root/Slow/Stun etc. Use this to help your group out!
When the boss does his combo, follow your assignments and stack with raid if you are not actively tanking at the time
During intermissions keep your adds away from each other and assist with killing small adds
If a big add is near a small add, they get a speed boost, deal more raid damage when put into boss and will be
immune to CC Boss Specific Weak Auras:

Mythic: The 100 energy combo is not as strict and can be done in a random order, so be prepared to adapt.
For example, it can start with the raid slash before the tank slash, or the AoE can just occur at any point in the
combo (For example: Tank Slash --> AoE --> Raid Slash)

How do you get 1 giant add clump in the intermission?

Tank Assignments Druid Tanking Stuff
Ensure only one tank is in front of the boss at all times, as the boss does a cleave (which leaves a debuff increasing dmg) Recommended Talents:
Phase 1 (100%-70%): Point the cone in a way that doesn't cover that much room (don't go OCD with it through, the room gets
cleared)
Phase 2 (70%-40%): Room is cleansed. New abilities. Edge of Obliteration Scythe's spawn in the room and fly from one side
to the other. Dodge the black lines (see gif below)
A tank will also get a buff that allows them to split damage. You can use this to assist the player who is running (It's not 100%
reliable though). Orb 1 = Tank at P2 Start. Orb 2 = Other Tank. Orb 3 = Other Tank. Orb 4 = Tank at P2 Start All Tanks
Phase 3 (40%): This is technically an intermission, but it's a phase in itself. There will be adds that spawn, only 2 are tankable
at a time. If the sword add is within 20y of another add they will gain +20% dmg from his periodic cast. Heroic/Mythic: In phase 2 - If you do the first tank swap at 4 stacks of scythe, this then makes the rest of the fight line up better as you
Adds become immune to interrupt for 20s after being interrupted. have more natural swaps for the buffed/non-buffed tank with orb spawns
Damage transfered via the Avatar is True Damage. As in, it's just points of damage not attached to any school. However
it is mitigated by your active mitigation source (Ironfur, Ironskin Brew, Bone Shield + Blood Shield, Block,
Final Phase (40%-0%): If you die in this phase you are able to release and resurrect using the tree, however each res Demon Spikes)
consumes the tree health. Whilst dead pick up motes to empower the titans.
For tanks, there's not much to it in addition to the previous phases, apart from the stacks are now permanent (only in To check how much damage you will take from argus scythes + soulbomb/burst use the calculator linked at the top,

Motes!
Edge of
Obliteration

Mythic Only
Phase 1:
The main change here is that the scythes do ALOT more damage, and you ideally want to swap on 2/3, any more than that
you'll need to use an actual CD
1ST CONE - If the boss does a scythe BEFORE the cone, you are free to move him after it.
If the boss does NOT scythe BEFORE the cone, he will scythe immediately after so ensure you don't scythe unaware
raiders and call this out
If you recieve the 5th cone, have the NON ACTIVE TANK taunt the boss and STAY IN MELEE RANGE the boss hitting a new
target will prevent him from casting a new set of debuffs, allowing you to buy more time for your phase push
Phase 2:
The orbs are always Bomb + 2xBurst --> 2x Burst (repeating). Note: Bomb always goes on healers
If you are soaking all 3 away from the raid, you will require a major cooldown to stay alive
If you are just soaking the 2x Burst in the raid, a minor cooldown will keep you alive
On the 2nd Bomb the tank buff will swap, so active buffed tank will need to take the boss before this and have the two other
tanks in position to soak
Phase 3/4 (Mythic Phase):
Every scythe you take will spawn a rent soul orb (denoted by a red swirly on the floor before it spawns)
These spawn 1 per scythe stack. 1st scythe = 1 orb. 5th scythe = 5 orbs
Most guilds will have their tanks die on the 5th scythe (monks + warriors you may require "kill me" macros to remove AM)
Rent Soul is a 2y explosion, you can soak them next to people and they'll be fine. People will only take damage if
they're ON the orb
During the blades if you are soaking orbs, you can call for a BoP to not get the stacks from the blades (that go from one side to
the other)
