The new structure and contents deviate considerably from the current version, many paragraphs have
moved inside the same chapter and some informations have also been moved to different chapters (refer to
the table below showing only the most impo rt ant changes).

CHAPTER CHANGES
PFL Winter Operations moved to Chapter MET Paragraph 7
IFL APPROACH MINIMA rearranged in Chapter RAR Paragraph 8
MET METEOROLOGY DEFINITIONS AND TERMS Moved to Chapter ABB: Definitions
and Terms
MET CONVERSION OF REPORTED MET VIS TO RVR (JAR-OPS) Moved to Chapter
RAR: Paragraph 8.6 (RAR)
MET REGIONAL MET informations Rearranged into respective new RSI Chapters.
VHF and HF-FREQs and information about ATIS and VOLMET stations moved to
the para g raph "Appendix" of the respective RSI chapters
NAV Supplementary Informations Rearran g ed into respective new RSI Chapters

The new General Pa rt is now supplemented by Regional Supplementary Informations RSIs. They are
sorted by ICAO regions and contain exceptions, differences and additions to the international standards
published in the General Pa rt (i.e. special regional information, procedures, etc.).
Some informations have been moved from the old CRAR chapter to these new RSIs chapters.

You will find attached to this mail "Transfer Tables" for each GEN pa rt chapter showing the differences
between the old and the new structure. A copy of this Transfer Table will be available onboard.
