JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Process Engineer Company: Borouge

Unit: Borouge ½ or 3 Department: OPEX

Location: Ruwais

Basic Function:

Proper technical and financial closure of changes that were implemented in the field during
the past years.

Main Work Performed and Responsibilities:

All the below regards his area of responsibility.

 Makes him/herself accustomed with the Borouge e-MOC practices.


 Per implemented change that was not closed properly, identify all the missing engineering
documents.
 Create all the missing as-built redline mark-up engineering documents by conducting field
visits and search through stored data on the project (e-MOC tool).
 Perform PSSR’s in the field where required, hereby inviting all required attendees
according to Borouge regulations.
 Technical and financial closure of a project in e-MOC tool after document update/PSSR
has been completed and documents are uploaded in EDMS (Engineering Document
Management System).
 Have regular (schedule to be established) follow-up meetings with the temporarily
employed Senior Process Engineer and/or Borouge OPEX team to report on the progress.
 Respect the general safety rules of Borouge.

Work Contacts:

Regular contacts with Borouge operations section heads and engineers, maintenance
engineers and technicians, RSI engineers, OPEX team.

Supervisory Responsibility:

n/a

Independence of Operation and Decision making Authority:

Reports the temporarily employed Senior Process Engineer.


Works in accordance with established operating procedures, instructions and specialised
technical/safety standards. Work accomplishments are subject to review and direction.
Work Environment:

Works in the production plant at Ruwais and when in the field, may be exposed to prevailing
weather and plant conditions, including dirt, dust, noise and fumes (approximately 30% of the
work time).

Minimum Requirements:

 Degree in any process related engineering discipline.


 Five (5) years of relevant process experience, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical
industry.
 Profound skills in reading and red marking process related engineering documents (P&ID,
PFD, …).
 Good knowledge of English – Spoken and written.
 Good computer skills (AdobePro, MS Office, MS Outlook).
