Assessment strategy:

Assessment is divided into two sections that are; Course Work (50%) and Final Examination
(50%). Course work is adminstered throughout the course while Examination is adminstered
at the end of the semester.

Course work covers simulation workshop and academic writing. Course work is set based on
the Course Work Guideline Manual ( Buku Panduan Penggubalan Kerja Kursus).
Examination is a written test set based on the Manual Examination Guideline ( Buku Panduan
Penggubalan Kertas Peperiksaan).

12. Synopsis This course encompasses the basic concepts of guidance and counseling goals, needs, types
of guidance and counseling services; roles of ordinary teachers as guidance teachers;
application of theories and basic counseling skills in conducting individual and group
counseling and various types of therapy in child counseling and the basics of career and
understanding student’s career interest
