Mountaineering

Mountaineering was born in the Alps at the end of the 18th
century (Mont Blanc,1786).
Its purpose is to get to the top of a certain mountain, as a
challenge to nature.
It is about the discipline, in general sports or recreational,
which consists of the realization of the ascent and descent
of mountains.

AREAS AND SPECIALTIES
The twelve specialties can be grouped into four areas by their affinity. This
also simplifies materials, techniques and training:
1. Marching area :
Trekking, it demands more physical effort and that at the same time implies
going through places without paths and places where there is no road that
can be found in mountains, forests, jungles, coasts, canyons, rivers, caverns,
etc.
Hiking : it develops on roads, trails, trails and demarcated trails, in order to
make trips or walks.
Expeditions : An expedition is a long-range excursion in which there is a
specific objective, such as conquering a snowy peak, crossing a jungle or
walking along the coast of any given country.
