SPECIFICATIONS

PLUMBING NOTES
1. All plumbing works included herein shall be executed according to the requirement of
the national building code, the national building code and the rules & regulation of the
locality.

2. Coordinate the drawings & other related drawings and specifications pipes shall be
installed as indicated.

3. All fixtures & pipes to be used shall be new & approved type for installation according
to its purpose. Any relocation required for the execution of other trades shall be w/ prior
approval of architect or the designer.

4. Run all horizontal piping in perfect alignment and the uniform grade of not less than
2% slope. All changes in direct shall be made by the appropriate used of bends, wye
& tees.

5. All works to be executed shall be under the direct supervision of a duly Registered
Master Plumber or Sanitary Engineer.
ELECTRICAL NOTES
1. All electrical works herein shall be done in accordance with the pertinent provision of
the latest edition of the Philippine Electrical Code, the Local Safety Ordinance, its rules
and regulation in accordance with the electrical company policies and guidelines.

2. Unless otherwise specified on the all wiring shall be installed in standard conduit, run
embedded inside hollow block, conc. structure, slab, column, wall partition & all run
concealed between double wall wooden partition & inside ceiling spaced.

3. Wherever required & necessary full boxes of proper size shall be installed at
convenience & conspicuous location to facilitate wire pulling even these items are not
shown in the plan.

4. All materials to be used shall be new approved quality installed in application for which
they are intended.

5. Switches shall be mounted at height 1.37m high from the fin, flr. Line convenience
outlet shall be 0.40 high.

6. Service entrance shall be 220 volts single phase two wire system.

7. Minimum size of wire & conduit to be used shall be no. 16 & ½ diameter respectively.

8. All works & installed shall be done neatly in a workman line manner & shall be under
the direct supervision of a duly licensed electrical engr.
SLAB NOTES
1. In two way slabs, the bars along the short span be at the lower layer from the bottom
bars & at the upper layer for top bars along the shorter span shall have the bigger
effective depth unless otherwise noted or detailed to the continuity of from adjoining
span.

2. If the top reinforcement over a common support of two adjacent span are different, the
smaller spacing shall be followed or adopted on slab panel at the common support.

3. Bars may be spliced only where indicated on details or as approved by the structural
engr. straight continuous bars in slab may be spliced (lapped or welded) at support for
bottom bars, & at midspan for top bars.

4. Thickness of the slab shall not be less than 4” or 10 centimeters or less than the
perimeter of the slab divided by 180.

5. The spacing of reinforcement shall not be more than 3- times the slab thickness & the
ratio of reinforcement shall be at least 0.0025.

6. Construction joints in floor shall located near the middle of the span of the slabs, beams
or girders unless a beam intersects a girder at this point, in which case the joints in the
girders shall be offset a distance equal to twice the width of the beam provision shall
be made for transfer a shear & the other forces thru the construction joints.
