❏ Turn this in online on CANVAS.
❏ You MUST have a total of 15 hours planned out.
❏ Because this is a plan that is subject-to-change, you are estimating the amount of time
activities may take and you are estimating the date as well.
❏ Take a look at the 2 018-2019 CMS CALENDAR before getting started. Take the planning
process seriously.
❏ I will not approve this form unless it is filled out in-full.
Directions: Please review the questions below. These questions are meant to help you focus on
exactly WHAT you will do with your 15 hours. It is your choice whether you fill out the 15 hour plan
first or answer the questions first. Just make sure this is completed.

1. Provide the original title of your junior paper.
“Don't talk with your hands, silence hides violence : domestic violence happens to men and
women .
2. What was your topic about? What was your position (belief) about the topic. Give pertinent
details. Explain #2 in a paragraph or less. If you have changed your topic, explain it here.
It was a personal topic, and my position was that domestic violence does happen to men and
women and is a serious matter for either race, gender, and ethnicity. I've changed my topic to
domestic violence in general to make it a all in one topic against men, woman, teens in abusive
relationships .
The community will benefit from my SLE by being informed on a serious situation
that light needs to be shed on. Show the physical effects that domestic violence
puts on an individual.
d. At the end of your hours, how will YOU know you helped this community? How will
you measure this? 2-3 sentences.
I will know if i can show people that it's a serious situation and nothing to play with
or take lightly. Some people might feel the need to speak up after listening to my
personal experience with my mom.
**A mentor is optional, but it does get you extra points on your final project grade. You must provide
