Guidelines for Paper and Poster Presentation

Abstract for Both Oral and Poster Presentation

Authors should submit an abstract of their original, unpublished work not exceeding 400 words
(or 2 page) in the given formats. It should be prepared according to the templates given above
and submitted as a single pdf or MS word file.

Submissions to ACES 2019 will be selected for oral or posterpresentation on the basis of peer
review.

Please note that:

• All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and
spelling of a quality suitable for publication.
• If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to present your talk (either orally or as a
poster).
• Detailed instructions formanuscript preparation and papersubmission are made available
onthe conference website.
• The abstracts would be published in the conference book of abstracts and selected full papers
would be published in peer reviewed journals.

Guidelines for Paper (Oral) and Poster presentation

Paper(Oral) Presentation:
Number of slides should be minimum and presentation time should be strictly followed. Please
stop when signaled by the Chair to do so.
Length of Presentation: (10 Minutes)

• Total in 10 minutes: Presentation and Questions & Answers

Submission instructions:
Please prepare the slides in Microsoft Office’s PowerPoint format. The presenter is requested to
report in advance and load their presentation 1 hour before starting of the session.
Language: Presentation must be entirely English
Presentation Structure:

• Background/purpose
• Methods
• Results
• Summary/conclusion

Poster Presentation:
• A Poster session is a one-to-one informal discussion between presenters and their audience
on a conference-related theme. Presenters post their research design and findings on a poster
board; i.e., a brief text clearly labeled and illustrated by photos, charts, graphs, tables.
• Recommended Poster Sizes: Maximum poster size is 42 inches horizontal by 42 inches
vertical (or 1-meterX 1-meter maximum).
• Your poster must correspond to the title and content of the abstract you submitted.
• Poster Board Dimension: Each author will be provided with 4 feet high X 4 feet wide [1.22-
meter x 1.22-meter] poster presenting area and mounting pins / stick-tape.
• Please ensure that you stand by your poster (s) during your session for discussion and
questions.

Prize: The best three presentations in both Paper and Poster categories will be rewarded with
memento and certificates.
Participation certificates will be given to all the participants.
