CONJUNCIONES TEMPORALES

Las conjunciones temporales suelen aparecer en las oraciones subordinadas temporales.

Las más importantes son las siguientes;

While, as soon as, until, before, after.

While: Significa mientras;

The boy was studying while the puppy was sleeping

Yo estaba estudiando mientras el cachorro estaba durmiendo

As soon as: Significa tan pronto como;

I will call you as soon as I know the answer.

Te llamaré tan pronto como sepa la respuesta.

Until: Significa hasta,

The tourists are going to stay until the storm finishes.

Los turistas se van a quedar hasta que la tormenta termine.

Before: Significa antes,

Before you came, I was watching TV.

Antes de que vinieras, estaba viendo la tele.

After: Significa después;

The sugar is poured after the water has boiled.

El azúcar se vierte después de que el agua ha hervido.
