Additive manufacturing powders
SUGGESTED USES
The addition of Nb with Mo gives the alloy high strength and toughness in the annealed condition.
Applications • Automotive • Aerospace and defence • Chemical process industry • Marine engineering •
Oil and gas industry • Nuclear • Seawater heat exchangers
DESCRIPTION/FEATURES
Properties include high strength, excellent corrosion resistance and a working T range between -250
°C – 650 °C. It is also agehardenable Welding characteristics and resistance to cracking makes it an
ideal material for additive manufacturing • Retains strength up to 650 °C • High creep and corrosion
resistance • Solidification properties suit additive manufacture Applications • Aerospace and defence •
Gas turbine blades • Exhaust manifolds • Rocket motors • Heat exchangers
SUGGESTED USES
Precipitation-hardening NiCr alloy has good tensile, fatigue, creep and rupture strength at temperatures
up to 700 °C . It is ideal for many high T applications – gas turbine parts, instrumentation parts, power
and process industry parts. It has excellent potential for cryogenic applications. Parts can be easily post-
hardened
