In the following steps, we will assist you to calculate your group health insurance

Step 2
Calculate the total number of lives (people) for your selected option.

Example: easyinsurance total lives including employees+ family+ parents is 20.

Step 3
Now select the hospitalization limit. Please note that you can select different
hospitalization limits for different hierarchy level or a standard hospitalization limit
for everyone.

Example: easyinsurance has decided to give annual hospitalization limit 300k to

all its employees.

Step 4
Calculate the total amount by multiplying the number of lives to unit rate of the
chosen category

Example: easyinsurance total amount would be 20 * 6567 = Rs. 131,340

What about OPD?

The above-mentioned rates are only available for in-patient (hospitalization and
emergency) expenses. If P@SHA member companies are willing to give their team
members out-patient health coverage which includes regular, non-emergency doctor
consultations and medical tests, they can create a shared OPD pool and set per
person limits. This pool will be managed by the insurance company, which will charge
a 10% administration fee of the used OPD pool.

Here’s an example to better understand how an OPD pool works.

A company “easyinsurance” decides that they want to provide their employees with
an OPD coverage. They create a pool of finances amounting to PKR 1,000,000. The
insurance company manages this pool, providing doctor consultations and medical
services through panel hospitals, and asks for an admin fee of 10% of whatever
expenses are being spent on health care. If your employees used up PKR 500,000 of
the OPD pool, the insurance company will facilitate the procedures and charge you
PKR 50,000 which is 10% of the used amount. (This is less than the usual 15%
admin fee).
