THE PROFITING MIND

Man is composed of three elements. They are:

 The Spirit
 The Soul and
 The Body. 1Thess 5:23.

The Soul is the mind: It is the bedrock of whatever happens in one’s life.
The Profiting Mind is the Mind that is fully utilized to accomplish great
things and SUCCESS in life. (Sound Mind).

Basically, there is no difference between the successful man, the great

man, the poor, or a failure. They all have the same number of senses, brain
and other biological things that make up the body; so you have no right to
be a NOBODY. The main reason for some people making it in life and
some other people are failing in life is the UTILIZATION OF THE
MIND. To put your mind to use and make it a profiting mind, then you
must know that:

1. Your mind is a gift (1Tim 1:7): See your mind as a gift from God.
The bible says that the gift of man shall make a way for him. Utilize
your mind and it will surely make a way for you. Examples from
Bible references – David and Joseph.
 Prayer Point: May you discover the gift of God in your life IJN. Put
your mind in use and God should help you to use the gift of the mind
to profit your life. 1Tim 1:14
2. Your mind is designed by God to solve problems (Prov 20:5): Your
mind is made to solve problems. The Problems people suffer today
come through the underutilization of the mind. When you put your
mind to use you will solve all your problem.
3. Your mind must be made up (Dan 1:8): The purposed make up their
minds so as to succeed in life. Use your mind to profit not to lose
(Matt 15:19). Your mind is very important to what is happening to
you now. (Wrong use of the mind Gen 6:5). Many people do not
have a determined mind. You need determination in your mind to
be able to profit.

DEVELOPING YOUR MIND TO PROFIT

Renew your mind Rom 12:2: Renewing of your mind brings about
transformation. Why do you renew the mind that is wicked? The mind
is not safe, and before you give your life to Christ, your mind is full of
junks and jargons which is also a mind of wickedness. So if the mind
must profit, then it must be renewed by the word of God and prayer
for understanding. How to renew the mind? One renews the mind by
Reading 2Tim 4:13 and by Studying the word of God 2Tim 2:15.
1. Meditation: Engage your mind in meditation practices Josh 1:8.
Meditate day and night so as to have deep thinking. What do you
meditate on Phil 4:8.
2. Let the mind which is in Christ Jesus also be in you Phil 2:5, Think
the way Jesus will think, and talk the way he will.
3. Speak out Rom 10:10
4. Continue 2Tim3:14. When you do all this things, your mind will
profit then it shall be called THE PROFITING MIND.
