MINUTES OF THE MEETING


November 21, 2018

Discussions:
Preliminaries:
1. M’Zip led the prayer.
2. Dr. Rola, Dr. Mingo, Dr. Tubella are attending the “A Doctors” meeting.
3. Dr. Delima reminded everyone of the HIPHOP values. She recognized M’Sagsago, M’Alvarez,
S’Bongga, M’Baculio, S’Rivera, M’Saring, M’Hinalan and M’Babaran for being the early birds.

1. Teacher Induction (DepEd Order 43 s. 2015)


- Dr. Delima identified those who are in DepEd 3 years or more. In addition, teachers must
download the copy from the internet.
- She said that teachers should be here every Monday beginning Dec to March. We will only
discuss Module 2 and 3 for SY 2018-2019 (see action plan from Dr. Delima)
- Once completed, a teacher is given a certificate of attendance per session and another certificate
upon completion.
2. Class Observation
- M’Joy raised an issue about duplication of teacher observation.
- M’Delima discussed about the re-assignment of those who are under Dr. Labitad’s observation.
- She then announced the respective teachers per MT. Accordingly, the new observation
assignment will be implemented while the new principal is not yet in.
- M’Delima asked about Mr. Bolotano’s, M’Gamayon’s, Dr. Rola’s MT assignment for observation.
- She explained that the plotting is such since there will be re-assignment of principals.
3. E-CARD
- Dr. Delima asked if E-CARD is done per strand. All agreed to have it by strand.
- TVL advisers asked for extension with their TVL strand E-CARD.
- She reminded everyone that since we are a deadline late; E-CARD must really be pushed
through as scheduled.
- Parents’ attendance should be 50% or more of the population. Advisers must encourage all
parents to attend. In connection, S’Bolotano suggested that students will not be enrolled unless a
parent/guardian appears during ECARD.
- M’Pecson suggested that students must approach all their subject teachers for their grades.
- M’Alvarez opened about those who did not attend during summer classes. M’Delima encouraged
that parents must know about the status of their learners.
- Class card was suggested by M’Pecson. However, M’Delima raised about the concern on
redundancy.
- S’Bolotano asked about the concern about teacher who cater modular classes for lacking
subjects.
- M’Cabrillos inquired to what extent we cater students. M’Delima informed that students must
show certificates explaining why they did not attend summer classes.
- In addition, she asked about the JDVP students who have previous failures. M’Delima informed
everyone that these must be considered considering the immersion program they are in.
- M’Cabrillos and S’Bolotano raised the concern about the failure of Mr. Dablio, Grade 12 EIM
student. The child could have been retained, but S’Judson Pastrano insisted to promote him.
- S’Bolotano raised the case of Abuda of Grade 12 GAS C. The child must not pass since she did
not comply with the requirements to be complied, considering her considerations from the
teachers since Grade 11.
- M’Candice encouraged all the teachers to use the modules crafted by the CDO Division writers.
- Ma’am Delima informed the teachers that only competencies where the child failed should
remediated.
4. Submission of SF 5
- The form should be submitted ASAP.

5.Other Matters
-Most of the teachers agreed that if you are the Grade 11 adviser, you will also be the grade 12
Adviser.
-S’Logares raised about the concern of the class sectioning. Whoever is the Grade 11 adviser
should be the Grade 12 adviser to expedite the making of the forms.
-S’Revira suggested that students who failed in the 1st sem should not be included in the LIS.
-S’Alvarez suggested that advisers should always do a follow up to students who are likely to fail.

PART II (Meeting with Dr. Mingo)

1. Birthday Celebrants
- Dr. Mingo asked for suggestions about the celebration of the September to November
Celebrants.
- Dr. Mingo recognized the suggestion of everyone that the celebration will be on Nov. 29.
- M’Cabrillos asked for the schedule of the Christmas Party. Dr. Delima told everyone that the
matter should be coordinated with the Junior High School since we do not have our own
classrooms.

2. Christmas Party
- M’Saring informed everyone that Mallberry Suites was booked on December 13, 2018 for the
faculty Christmas Party. But, the teachers disagreed since Science Laboratory is more
convenient than any other hotels.
- Through voting, everyone agreed that the Christmas Party will be at the Science Laboratory.
They also agreed that the variants of food are catered.
- Dr. Mingo asked if everyone agrees for games. The English Department promised for 5 games
with PRIZES.
- For the attire, everyone agreed to have the floral outfit. Dr. Mingo said that she will prepare for
the committee/ distribution of responsibilities.
- For the exchanging of gifts, 200pesos minimum-something useful and memorable.
