I’m hopeful you may still scrutinize Hill’s alleged misconduct and, thus, it is desirable to provide a definitive
update so that you have the ability to access a comprehensive database; in addition, this encompasses
interim information regarding this issue, conceptualized maximally so that the overall message of these
e-mails can be reinforced effectively. Again, information from multiple sources is included; you are now
able to compare/contrast the focus upon his having fomented VIOLENCE (c/o his critics) vs. the focus
upon his speech/academic-freedom rights (c/o his pals). Note that the former encompasses the latter
(for OUR claims encompass concerns regarding speech/academic-freedom), whereas the latter does NOT
encompass the former (for THEIR claims scrupulously/lamentably evade fomenting VIOLENCE).

Note two opinions conveyed in last week’s Jewish Exponent. First, note Steve Feldman’s essay claiming
“Temple Is Actually Protecting Professor Hill,” [http://jewishexponent.com/2019/01/11/temple-is-
actually-protecting-professor-hill/], which he introduced thusly on Facebook by exhorting readers:

Friends: We dare not drop the ball or give up on exposing and thwarting those who are
dangers to America and Jewry; those who call for violence and support murderers of law
enforcement officers; those who have access to impressionable young people and who
are given platforms by esteemed institutions.

We must call out and condemn not only them but also those who give them platforms
and respect, and those who protect them and excuse abhorrent behavior.

Make no mistake: The subject of this column deliberately incites violence against Jewish
People through his lies, and were his goals for America to come true, every American
would be in danger!

DO NOT STOP calling him out and calling out those who hired him and who protect him.

DO NOT LET apathy set in. DO NOT GIVE UP ON JUSTICE.

Second, a letter by Burt Siegel warned “Look out for the clear threat” is mute regarding Hill’s having
fomented violence [not yet uploaded @ http://jewishexponent.com/category/opinion/kvetch-n-kvell/
despite multiple nudges sent to the Editor]. Indeed, whereas Feldman condemns your inaction (to-date),
the latter recycles bromides-of-deflection: [1]—although he characterized the Pittsburgh-shooter as
“right-wing,” he was anti-Trump (thus, totally irrelevant) and, [2]—although he condemned anti-Jewish
expressions targeting journalists, this is tangential (and, actually, is better directed at progressives in the
mainstream-media who attack conservatives/Trump mercilessly/daily/aggressively … devoid of facts).

1
Some have criticized these essays as being excessively dense — akin to medical reports — but they are
all-inclusive and have memorized all available information regarding both content and context. Thus,
one more juxtaposition is cited to illustrate the necessity to focus upon Hill’s having fomented violence:

Caroline Glick is an extremely-respected Jerusalem Post essayist who is now running for the Knesset;
thus, her observation from overseas is instructive [http://carolineglick.com/the-new-inquisition/]:

Hill used two well understood euphemisms. He called for Israel’s annihilation by ending
his speech by stating the Palestine Liberation Organization’s slogan for Israel’s
destruction, “Free Palestine from the river to the sea.” That is, the establishment of
Palestine on all the land Israel is located on – from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean
Sea. Hill endorsed Palestinian terrorism against Israelis when he said, “We must promote
non-violence at every opportunity, but cannot endorse narrow politics that shames
Palestinians for resisting.” “Resistance” is the euphemism for terrorism, universally
recognized and used among the Palestinians and their supporters.

Compare it with numerous essays originating from a left-wing source that aggressively rationalize-away
this violence-laden advocacy (particularly noting that MLK-Jr. Day approaches) and predictably cite Hill as
a role-model for other intersectional progressives (who are conveying a comparable Jew-hating message):

The exception from this publication is “Demonizing Israel Isn’t Anti-Semitic — But Marc Lamont Hill
Crossed the Line,” which repurposed the points made by Glick (and in these essays) and which found that
“…[I]f [Hill] can’t understand why Jews — both his allies and political adversaries — are offended by his
words, we’ve got a bigger problem.” [https://forward.com/opinion/415088/demonizing-israel-isnt-anti-
semitic-but-marc-lamont-hill-crossed-the-line/] These op-eds convey points made on other leftist sites.

In contrast with how the GOP has condemned Rep. Steve King for having extolled “white supremacy”
(although he disputes this claim), Democrats and Progressives haven’t condemned Farrakhan’s repeated/
unambiguous Jew-hatred (which Hill compartmentalizes by criticizing only his attacks on gays and Jews);
this is problematic because the Nation of Islam escapes attack for receiving federal cash to teach prisoners
[https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/exclusive-nation-of-islam-receiving-federal-cash-to-
teach-prisoners?utm_source=WEX_News%20Brief_12/19/2018&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign
=WEX_News%20Brief]. Elections — and electing to remain mute — carry revelatory consequences.

2
As usual, the ZOA is assiduously following these manifestations of Jew-hatred, noting it has formally asked
that leaders of UNC-Asheville “Cancel Farrakhan-Loving, Israel-Hating Tamika Mallory Keynote” speech
[https://zoa.org/2019/01/10385436-zoa-to-unc-asheville-cancel-farrakhan-loving-israel-hating-tamika-
mallory-keynote/]; MLK-Jr. Day has been an occasion when he has regularly been a key-note speaker
[https://www.tallahassee.com/story/news/2017/01/11/tributes-planned-honor-martin-luther-king-
jr/96455714/], and he will be speaking this Monday-p.m. at Radford University in Radford, Virginia
[https://www.radford.edu/content/radfordcore/home/news/releases/2019/january/martin-luther-king-
jr-day-of-service.html] touting his being [“a professor of Media Studies and Urban Education at Temple”]
and on 1/23/2019 at SE-Missouri State University [https://www.semissourian.com/story/2575289.html].

His classroom conduct was adjudged [http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=1420197]

to have been “AWFUL/POOR” while at Columbia University; all four comments condemned him:

passionate however very afro-centrist and myopic when it comes to other cultures

Hill pretends to be an expert on everything. He is not prepared for class and is not
interested in students. His knowledge is very surface level.

Listen to his comments on news programs and you can tell he would never make it in the
real world...only in the academic arena trying to brainwash future generations. Another
example of the reason our education system is a disaster.

Is unprepared for class often.

This raises the key-question as to why was he hired (and provided an endowed chair plus tenure, to boot)
by the Dean, noting also that his current behavior mirrors critique of the liberals @ Columbia University
[http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=745138]; his self-confident elitism overwhelms
whatever his scholarship may be, noting that comments convey both “lack of restraint” and “intolerance
for contrary views” [violating his contract, see prior essays] yielding a consensus that he was “average.”

loves no one but himself. why show up late?? and does he actually know how to teach or
just ramble off some stuff? I’m just sayin’....get ur priorities straight. fox news or be a real
professor? I’m pretty sure students pay for you to teach.

Wow this dude loves to call you out in class. That is the worst part. some days were more
interesting than others but when he puts ID photos up on the projector prepare to feel
stupid! there is a lot of reading and writing if you have him for XO60,and you will use all
your diamond dollars printing out the text book. oh yeah and he is a "know it all"

OMG, the people who gave him a good rating - are you kidding! Hill was never at class on
time, he even pushed back the start time and still couldn't make it! His lectures were more
about the famous people he met rather than the topic Curriculum. He treated grad
students as children, and loved to point out that we were not as smart as him! AWFUL!

He is a joke. I took him for a graduate class in education and it was a complete waste of
time and money. He doesn't know what he is talking about, he is arrogant, and he is a
really poor teacher. Watch him get ripped on YouTube by Patrice O'Neill. It is hilarious
because he sounds totally hapless. Undergrads beware!

3
Hill was constantly late to class. There were times where he would be absent for the
whole week of class and the GA's would have to cover (they were better than him!) When
Hill was there, we rarely discussed what we had read for class that day. He seemed less
interested in the class and focused on his own agenda. Avoid him if you dislike truancy.

His GA Bernard is the man to talk to about education—he actually listens to you and has
good advice that you'll actually use. As for Hill, his lecture is very liberal and really
interesting. This was probably the only class I never skipped going to this semester. If he
threatens you with a quiz don't worry--it never counts, he just likes to scare.

Hill is often 5-10 minutes late to class and usually brings food, which he eats during
lectures. Walks around classroom and is difficult to hear in 110-person lecture. Lectures
tend to focus on black/white racism. Textbook is usually mundane and glosses over
important events without explanation. Lots of writing, but easy grading.

Arrived late, left early, cancelled class for his own convenience. Never gave feedback! He
cares about being a media personality, not about teaching.

Other comments convey nonspecific accolades, yielding the inescapable conclusion that documentation
of his attendance-record would yield incontrovertible conclusions as to which perspective is accurate.

His anarchy-advocacy still has not been rescinded, and he now is linked with a new Congresswoman who
proclaims Jew-hatred [Michigan Rep-Elect Rashida Tlaib Defends Fired CNN Commentator Marc Lamont
Hill After Anti-Israel Speech - https://www.breitbart.com/the-media/2018/11/30/michigan-rep-elect-
rashida-tlaib-defends-fired-cnn-commentator-marc-lamont-hill-after-anti-israel-speech/]; openly derides
the existence of Israel [Rashida Tlaib Proposes Innovative Solution to ‘Palestine’ Problem, establishing it
near Cairo, per an office map - https://freebeacon.com/blog/rashida-tlaib-proposes-innovative-solution-
to-palestine-problem/]; and aggressively attacks the POTUS by invoking the F-bomb [Congresswoman
Rashida Tlaib on Trump: ‘Impeach the Motherf*cker’ - https://www.thedailybeast.com/congresswoman-
rashida-tlaib-on-trump-impeach-the-motherfucker]. You are now exposed to the vile culture that Hill
brings to Temple’s campus. Not yet reviewed are his books and videos which are probably congruent.

It is anticipated that the ZOA will provide an update as to its posture regarding this situation imminently,
and it will be remitted upon-arrival; presumably, it will double-down on the rationale for firing Hill; indeed,
recall that its exhaustive compilation of Hill’s rhetoric was provided previously and that it is felt that his
continued presence on the Temple campus serves to defame the school’s otherwise stellar reputation.

What has been unearthed during this analysis is the existence of a subculture of intersectionality which
links Hill with other anarchists (of myriad ilks) and with other Jew-haters (including members of Congress).
This need not be, recalling how Ward Churchill was fired for academic indiscretion that was revealed
following a review of his performance that had been triggered by awareness of his political posturing.
Similarly, although the violence-advocacy serves as justification for his prompt firing, it is hoped that the
totality of his involvement with Temple may be of-interest, including his classroom contributions which
are [1]—grossly biased, recalling the table-of-contents of one of his texts, and [2]—“very liberal,” recalling
the recorded observation supra. Thus, he infests the minds of his students and must be removed ASAP.
Therefore, Hill continues to humiliate you (usurping your oversight duties), were you to notice!

The aforementioned letter from Burt Siegel [vide supra] just emerged on the Internet and this key-excerpt
illustrates why it was concluded that he evades the “fomenting violence” issue permeating attacks on Hill
[http://jewishexponent.com/2019/01/16/letters-healthcare-and-anti-semitism/]:

Cooper’s suggestion that Professor Marc Hill is wrongly “protected by the concept of
academic freedoms” is equally troubling. As the rabbi must surely know, academic
freedom protects the right of a member of the academy to teach even absolute nonsense.
We don’t really know if Hill understood the intent of the slogan “free Palestine from the
river to the sea,” but even if he supports the outrageous and naive idea that there should
be one predominantly Muslim state in the land of Israel, this should not warrant dismissal
from his teaching duties. Keep in mind that Hill’s remarks were not in the context of his
teaching. As a former teacher and university instructor, the idea that I could have
disciplined for making mean-spirited and absurd comments outside of the classroom is
absolutely chilling.

The prior eight communications exhaustively demonstrated that Hill should be fired and Dean
Boardman’s status should be reassessed because — under presumed oversight by his administrator —
Hill violated the four criteria defining expected conduct in the Faculty Handbook and Hill satisfied the four
legal exceptions that preclude him from any “speech/academic-freedom” defense; he fomented violence
due to moral-turpitude. These letters have been reorganized by deleting redundancies (e.g., congealing
the two op-eds and re-dating to match when distributed); they serve as a basis for your in-depth analysis:

The initial (12/6/2018) letter showed his anti-Jew, racist-anarchist rhetoric contravened the basic norms
[https://tinyurl.com/y6uer8u8, with Exhibit 3 [https://tinyurl.com/yb4ena7m];

The second (12/9/2018) letter expounded on the local/national implications of these profound concerns

The third (12/12/2018) letter annotated deficiencies in your Statement [https://tinyurl.com/y9vf7g2h];

The fourth (12/13/2018) letter [https://tinyurl.com/ybqvd8cs] illustrates why anti-Zionism and anti-Jew
are synonymous operationally;

The fifth (12/14/2018) letter noted that his defenders remain mute rather than attempt to rationalize his
claims that “New York City police who are killing Blacks are being trained by Israelis” (undocumented)
and “Israel Poisoned Palestinian Water” (undocumented) and “police and prisons should be abolished”
(anarchic and violation of American rule-of-law) [https://thegrio.com/2018/12/15/marc-lamont-hill-on-

[https://tinyurl.com/yc7uahyk];

The sixth (12/15/2018) letter documents his advocacy for anarchism [https://tinyurl.com/ybhlo5or];

The seventh (12/16/2018) letter revealed he is an incorrigible ideologue, unapologetically defining a

career attacking “Afro-Palestinian” oppression as a result of global colonialism born perhaps of his
adherence to Jew-hater Farrakhan [https://tinyurl.com/ydbyk4np]; and

The eighth (1/3/2019) summarizes data accrued during the past month, including two op-eds composed
