Mission of the Department

The department of civil engineering aims to develop highly competent

professionals, preparing them for entry-level positions in civil engineering,
further study in graduate school, life-long learning, and societal leadership,
by providing a dynamic learning environment that emphasizes problem-
solving skills, team work, communication, and leadership skills.

Program Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of the Civil Engineering Program are as under:
i. To prepare graduates who can solve the complex engineering problems
faced by the construction industry of Pakistan in the area of Civil
Engineering through their theoretical, experimental and technical
knowledge.
ii. To develop creative design and construction skills in our graduates pertinent to the
demands of the industry.

iii. To instil in our graduates an understanding of their professional, social, and ethical
responsibilities so that they can develop their management and leadership skills with high
ethical and moral values.
