The sculpture as you seen on the above is one of the art work of Andy Council
which is a dinosaur sculpture. It consisted of a colorful dinosaur made of prominent made fro.
Bristol buildings, poised over the city skyline. This sculpture represents the city and the province
which tells that nowadays some of the lands may be eaten by or be gone to be a new building or
other infrastructure.

He is an illustrator and graffiti artist and also known in Bristol Underground scene.
he’s common work is dinosaur combined with an architecture design. He graduated at
Bournemouth Art College he studied in the field of animation. He was Born in Britian.

What makes this artwork/performance art contemporary?

The sculpture is an example of a piece in contemporary art that under go in the
element of Hybridity. Dinosaur is an animal the destroy a land because they are heavy when they
walk and in relation this days that in our growth of our nation we need to build more houses or
space to have an better living city, and day by day if we continue building or making a
infrastructure the trees, farm and other green thing will be gone and changed into a building,
houses, roads, parks, mall and etc. Which can destroy our earth.
How does this artwork reflect the people of today?
People tend to forget that we need save green things like plants, while time flies
by many infrastructures was build in earth which cause many tragedies. This sculpture means a lot
to especially to humans because we should learn from our mistakes if we still destroy trees there
are possibilities that may happen to us like flash flood, landslides and many more , we have to
think twice. Humans should be wise enough for our movements don’t be like dinosaur.
