Alccofine®1203
Micro fine mineral additive for concrete and mortars
DESCRIPTION
Alccofine 1203 is proprietary low calcium silicate
based mineral additive. Controlled granulation
process results in unique particle size distribution.
Its latent hydraulic property and pozzolanic
reactivity results in enhanced hydration process.
Addition of Alccofine 1203 improves the packing
density of paste component. This results in
lowering water demand, admixture dosage and
hence improving strength and durability
parameters of concrete at all ages.

DISPENSING and DOSAGE
Measured quantity of Alccofine 1203 shall be
added in the concrete mix along with cement and
other pozzolanic powder materials. Mixing time
shall be adequate to facilitate the uniform inter
dispersion of all powder materials in the concrete.
Dosage: 4% to 8% by weight of total binder
content as per the grade of concrete. For special
purpose concretes, dosage beyond the above
stated range can be used to achieve desired
performance parameters.
MIX DESIGN and TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Alccofine technical support team, if required, shall
be contacted for guidance on mix design with
micro fine mineral additives.

PACKAGING

Alccofine 1203 is available in 25 Kg bags. Other

pack sizes are available on request.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Bags of Alccofine 1203 should be stored in well-

ventilated sheltered cool, dry area and protected
from moisture, rain and heat. Under such storage
conditions shelf life of sealed product is minimum
six months from the date of manufacture.

HEALTH and SAFETY

PPE: Hand gloves, goggles and suitable

respiratory mask shall be used.
Precautions: Avoid prolonged contact with skin
and eyes. If swallowed seek medical attention
immediately.
Hazard: Regarded as non-hazardous for
transportation.
Disposal: Empty bags shall not be reused and
disposed off as per local rules and regulations.
