 Annual General Meeting 2016/2017 and
Annual Forum and Technical Sessions 2018 of IQSSL

Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) has taken up “Converging for
Responsible Construction Industry: Cost and Procurement, Accountability and
Sustainability” as the theme for the Annual Forum 2018 and “Next Generation
Technology in Quantity Surveying and Cost Engineering Documentation” as the
theme for Technical secessions 2018.

Technical Sessions 2018 will be held at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall
(BMICH) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event will be graced by Eng. Nihal Sooriarachchi,
Chairman, Road Development Authority, Dr. Jagath Munasinghe, Chairman, Urban
Development Authority.

Key Note speech will be delivered by Ch. Qs. Tilak Kolonne.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2016/2017 and The Annual Forum 2018 are scheduled to
be held on 26th January 2018 at "Nelum", Waters Edge, Battaramulla.

The proceedings of the AGM will start at 3:00 PM with the attendance of corporate members
of IQSSL of good standing.

The AGM will be followed by the Annual Forum which will take place at the same venue from
6:30 PM. The Chief Guest of the event is Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of
Megapolis and Western Development.

The Keynote speech will be delivered by Dr. Yasangika Sandanayake, Head of the Department
of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa followed by a panel discussion with the
participation of eminent professionals in the construction industry. There will be a fellowship
after the panel discussion.
