Improvement in Network's Life and Operational Performance
of WSN System through Energy Harvesting Schemes.
Abstract There is mismatch between high energy demands from cluster heads and relatively low supplies from wireless chargers in wireless sensor network (WSN). Energy consumption is a significant problem in the deployment of battery powered WSN. Therefore energy harvesting is considered as a feasible approach for longer life and better performance of Network system. My work will improve the network life and operational performance which depends not only on residual energy of the specific nodes but also on their energy harvesting rates. Renewable sources are being used to get useful energy and then stored in batteries as a backup to power up the nodes. that is why solar and wind energy harvesting can provide high power density without health risks. these both sources are subject to the weather dynamics. Mobility of data sink provides a dimension for the researcher to data collection techniques as well.
