Welcome to Timber Lake Playhouse's 2019 Auditions!

You will be auditioning for TLP's

Artistic Director, Paul Stancato.

Here's how it will work.

1. Once you receive your time slot, please come prepared with the following materials
- Your picture and resume
- If auditioning for a musical, a 32 bar song that shows off your range, along with
a comedic monologue.
- If auditioning for only our plays, prepare a comedic monologue.

2. You will have 5 minutes to perform. During your audition, you may be asked to
perform your monologue in varying ways to test your range.

3. You may be asked to come to a dance call. If you are auditioning for a musical, you
should be ready to dance. Dance calls will be held throughout the day during the
following times: (You can attend any of the times that fit your schedule)
1:00pm
3:30pm
5:30pm

4. If singing, you MUST bring sheet music. No acapella will be accepted. We will
provide an accompanist for you. Please bring sheet music in your key.

5. If you are auditioning for a specific role(s), you should prepare a song and/or
monologue in the style of the show and character you're interested in.

6. Please be on time for your appt. We are expecting a full day and need to stay on time.

Auditions will be held at Porchlight Musical Theater's East/ West Studios.

This will be TLP's only opportunity to audition for our single show contracts, so if you
would like to be considered for our Resident Company (Working with us the whole
summer- please express that at your audition)
