0 System Implementation Plan

8.1 Resource Requirements

8.1.1 Hardware Requirements

 Client
Personal Computers (Desktop)
Processor – Intel Core i3 or Higher
Hard Disk Drive – 100 GB or Higher
Disk Space Required – 500 MB
RAM Memory – 512 MB minimum

 Server
Portable Personal Computer (Laptop)
Processor – Intel Core i3
Hard Disk Drive – 930 GB
Disk Space Required – 40 MB
Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter Wi-Fi

 Printer
Canon
USB Connector
8.1.2 Software Requirements

For the purpose of running and executing the proposed system

normally, the proponents enumerate the resources that fit to system
requirements and suggest hardware for uninterruptable computer running.

 Server Computer
Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express
Microsoft Access
XAMPP
MySQL Connector/Net 6.9.7
Operating System (Windows 10)

 Client Computers
Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express
Microsoft Access
XAMPP
MySQL Connector/Net 6.9.7
Operating System (Windows 10)
Printer Driver
8.2.3 Human Resource Requirements

The user should be at least knowledgeable in basic computer

operations. The proponents made possible the proposed system much
understandable, depending on the type of user.

 Administrator
Conduct new employee orientation, benefit enrollment, training on
company policies and procedures. They explain company policies
and procedures to employees. Supervised by an HR admin, they
may also perform payroll and timekeeping functions.

 Registrar
It manages academic records for all current and former students
and supervises grading, records’ editing functions, the production of
transcripts, enrollment/degree verifications, and the processing of
requests from students for course changes. It develops and
implements policies and procedures for delivery of quality
registration and other student support services, produces the class
schedule, and maintains numerous data tables and systems. It
assists in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the school’s
data management and related systems. It also access in the
system include enrollment form, student’s info and balance form.

 Cashier
It is a human resource too that can access in the system but only
can manage is payment information, balance information and the
total fees information.
8.2 Implementation Plan

8.2.1 Site Preparation

o Copy files from distribution disks to specified folders on the hard

disk.
o If the files have been distributed in a compressed, uncompressed
them.
o Analyze the computer’s resources such as processor speed, RAM
capacity and hard disk capacity.
o To select appropriate device drivers, analyze hardware
components and peripheral devices.
o Look for any system files and tools such as Xampp Control Panel,
Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express, Microsoft Access and also
Google Chrome or the latest browser, Microsoft Edge which are
required to run the program, but not supplied on the distribution
disks.
o Update necessary system files like Window Registry and the
Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express Registry with information about
the new software.
8.2.2 Personnel Training

 User Training
o Manager
Who is responsible for a department normally has
directly reporting employees for whom he or she has
leadership.
o Supervisors
Who has several manager-like roles, responsibilities
and powers. A supervisor’s main job is more concerned with
controlling work rather than performing it directly.
o Clerks
It might answer phones, filing, data processing,
faxing, envelope stuffing and mailing, message delivery,
running errands, sorting incoming mail and much more.
 Operations Training
o Data entry clerks
It is a member of staff employed to enter or update
data into a computer system. Data is often entered into a
computer from paper documents.
o Computer operators
It is the person responsible for monitoring and
controlling computer systems especially mainframe
computer system in a company.
o Technical support personnel
They could be installing and configuring computer
system, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve
technical and applications problems either over the phone or
in person.
o Data control clerks
A person who schedules jobs for the computer and
manages the distribution of reports and other output.
8.2.3 System Conversion

The current design will be enhanced to add data elements

necessary to permit conversion of this data to That Cake Dough.
The contractor will be responsible for providing system software,
documentation and procedures for entering the data into the
system. After the system conversion file contains all data from the
other external systems automated conversions, a hardcopy
document will be generated for each system case. This document
bearing identifying information will specify any data that must be
manually entered. The document will take the form of an input
document and will be completed by the Case Managers after case
file review. The documents will then be returned to the admin and
the contractor will provide a method for entering the data into the
system.
8.2.4 Data Conversion

The approach to conversion of Current System data to new

system are to:

o Optimize the use of existing automated files containing

information about Customer data to build the statewide New
System database.
o Identify, collect and determine defaults for critical and
missing data from the Current System early in the process to
ensure an efficient conversion period.
o Eliminate and continue to avoid duplicate Current System
cases.
o Protect the integrity of the Current System data throughout
conversion and to validate and correct as necessary the
converted data prior to use in production
o Provide a smooth and seamless building of a state-wide
database.
o Ensure continued consistency throughout state-wide
implementation.
