The relay model developed in
SIMULINK is integrated with the power
system model in the MATLAB/SIMULINK,

Case (1): Three phase fault


Figure (13) shows the locus of the
impedance measured by the relay from
various fault location. It is seen from the
results that for 100 km length of the line if
fault is within the 80 km range the locus will
lie in the protection zone and for more than
80 km it lie outside the protection zone.
