Preamble
The substructure has been measured up

to an including the concrete floor slab
The site is assumed to be level and the

substructure has been measured accordingly
The top of the ground floor slab is assumed

to be 300mm above existing ground level
The top of the concrete foundation to external

walls and main cross walls is assumed to be
1000mm below existing ground level
Unless otherwise stated, all excavations shall

be in pickable material and including excavating
for working space where applicable
The term "reduced level" shall mean the ground

level after removal of vegetable soil or the
surface level of any filling required
The Quantities of excavation and disposal

within this bill will be found to balance, The
Contractor is to allow in his rates for forming
temporary spoil heaps, multiple handling etc.
as required
The Contractors attention is directed to
