WORK EXPERIENCE

Five Guys - Newcastle Feb 2017 — September 2018

Crew Member
While working at five guys I had to go through different interview stages and complete Five Guys university. Due to no
automated cooking appliances everything is time sensitive. It was important to follow the strict procedures to provide
an excellent service to the customers. Five guys has different cooking sections with assigned team members, working as
a team to execute perfect, fast food improving my communication and initive skills . The cleaning process involved
between 1-3 hours of strict methods when closing to clean the entire store. This meant I had to be reliable when closing
and working as a team member. On certain shifts during the week I was shift leader. This involved rotering breaks,
dealing with customer queries and undertaking quality check. This enhanced my interpersonal skills which allowed me
to succeed at being a leader of my colleages.

Lightwater Valley - Ripon June 2015 — October 2016

Operations: 2015 Game Staff: 2016
Rides: The job consisted of checking safety equipment, making sure all procedures were rigorously followed. This
required a lot of focus and confidence when talking and explaining the ride safety regulations. This encomposed taking a
leadership role and providing a safe, fun atmosphere in the themepark. As well as focus and overall care for the
customers on the Ride. It was important to follow ride safety regulations to make sure the customers were safe at all
time before, during and after the ride. From this process I learned how to listen to strict instructions from managers.

Games: I gained a lot of experience working with customers and advertising the game stalls. It required confidence,
being outgoing and a good work ethic. The job consisted of encouraging customers to play and explaining the rules,
handling cash and distribution of prizes. From this, I had to utilise my numeracy whilst handling monies. Dealing with
a-lot of small change I had to quickly work out exactly how much change was needed to be given to customers, this has
since enabled me to deal with simple mathematics autonomously.
