Spatial Data Security Techniques: Master’s Thesis
(Guided by Prof. Mrs. P. Venkatachalam - May’10 Ongoing)
• The goal of the project is to address the security problems related with Spatial Data in Cloud
Computing environment.
• This will produce the encrypted/transformed dataset which will be hosted in the Service
Provider’s server.
• Did extensive literature survey on existing spatial data security techniques and their usability
for the voluminous GIS data.
• The hybrid of Hierarchical Space Division method and Error Based Transformation will be
used for high performance and Cryptographic Transformation for high security
Undergraduate Projects
Web Based Short Message Service Provider
• Developed a web based Short Message Service Provider application in Java.
• Functionality includes Providing SMS using Internet browser and facilities to send,
edit, spell checking etc.
Hostel Management System
• Developed application to automate management of students Hostel using PHP and
MySQL

Thin Plate Spline Algorithm

• Developed Program for Thin Plate Spline Interpolation Algorithm an exact interpolator in C++
• Developed Visualization Program for interpolated data using OpenGL API

• Developed Program for registration of satelliite images of same area one with simple
distortions.
