 Definition Safety Rules

Safety is an ' EFFORT ' is how we implement the work in a manner that survived so
as not to crash. So whether we survived in doing work activities depends on our own efforts.
How we strive to work in a way that is good and true and to follow the SOP (Standard
Operation Procedure)

If we're not doing safety rules was an accident. Definition of accident that is an
undesirable occurrence, accidental, occurring unexpectedly arrives and can be detrimental to
some good parties that families, schools and the surrounding environment.

one way to prevent accidents in the workplace is to establish and devise procedures
work and train all workers to apply efficient working methods and safe. Putting together the
correct work procedures is one of the advantages of implementing safety rules which include
study and report every step of the job, job hazard identification of existing or potential (either
health or safety), and determine the best way to reduce and eliminate this danger.

 The Basics of Safety

Before you can use equipment and machines or attempt practical work in a workshop
you must understand basic safety rules. These rules will help keep you and others safe in the
workshop.

Through several years of investigating accidents and research in the field of accident
reconstruction, leaders in the field of occupational accident prevention have concluded that
there are specific reasons why accidents occur. They found that worker safety is dependent
on worker behavior and human factors. They developed ten safety rules and, while many of
you may have heard them before, they are worth repeating:

1. STAY ALERT - and stay alive. The more awake a worker is, the less likely he or she
is to get hurt. If you are unsure how to operate equipment or perform a task, ask your
supervisor. Don't guess and muddle through. Make sure you know in advance the
correct, safe way to do it.
2. WEAR THE RIGHT CLOTHES - work clothes should fit properly. Anything that can
catch in machinery or trip you up is hazardous. Wear protective clothing and
equipment as required.

1
3. USE THE RIGHT TOOLS - if you need a hammer, get a hammer. It may be handier
to use a pair of pliers, wrench or screw driver, but you are more likely to get injured.
4. LEARN HOW TO LIFT - Lifting takes more than muscle; it is an art. Don't try to
show how strong you are; you may end up in a hospital. Get help to handle anything
that is too heavy or cumbersome for you.
5. DON'T BE A PRANKSTER - practical jokes and horseplay can be dangerous,
especially around heavy machinery. If you feel the urge to play, resist it until after
work.
6. BE TIDY - Good housekeeping reduces hazards in the workplace or your home.
Always put away tools when they are not in use. Keep the floors clean, pick up scraps
and wipe up spills. A slip or trip can be fatal.
7. REPORTING IS IMPORTANT - Never fail to report accidents, defective equipment
and or unsafe conditions.
8. GET FIRST AID IMMEDIATELY - if you're hurt - even if it seems minor. Neglect
of an injury may lead to serious infection, weeks of lost time, and possibly permanent
injury.
9. BACK YOUR SAFETY PROGRAM - If you have an idea you believe will reduce
accidents, tell your supervisor about it. Set an example by obeying safety rules.
Cooperate with your safety committee.
10. NEVER TAKE A CHANCE - Next to sheer carelessness, short cuts are probably the
biggest killer of all. To save a minute or two, you may lose a lifetime. Whatever you
are doing, if you are not doing it safely, you are not doing it right!

 Rules In Language Laboratory

The language laboratory is an audio or audio-visual installation used as an aid in
modern language teaching. They can be found, amongst other places, in schools, universities,
and academies

Work safety procedures in the laboratory is very important to note considering the
results of the research showed had occurred work accident, Therefore, we must be very
careful in using the lab. Here is the working safety procedures in the laboratory.

Safety in the lab is an effort or a precautionary measure so that in laboratory activities

to avoid the slightest accident. With respect to the likelihood of hazards arising in the

2
activities of the laboratory, then you guys need to know the hazards posed by objects or items
that exist in the laboratory.

In addition it also need to know what businesses can do you, to prevent occupational
hazards in the laboratory

 The Terms Of Good Laboratory

Room of the lab standards is one of the factors in order to avoid accidents. These
terms include the condition of the room, the room arrangement, comprehensiveness of safety
equipment, important telephone numbers (fire, medical officer), etc.

Laboratory room which has a good ventilation system. Checkout process enter a
stable air. The circulation of fresh air coming into the room. Both must be considered as well.
The better air circulation, then the laboratory conditions will also be healthy. As with any
home, air circulation is in the primary position and cannot be ruled out.

Tool safety must always be available and in good condition. Especially first aid box
and fire extinguishers. Provide also useful telephone numbers such as firefighters and
medical officers in order that in the event of an accident that badly enough can be dealt with
immediately. Give also a sheet on how to use fire extinguishers and conduct laborato

 Safety Rules In Language Laboratory

The general rule in the code of conduct safety is as follows

1. Always listen carefully to the teacher and follow instructions.

2. Do not run in the workshop, you could ‘bump’ into another pupil and cause an
accident.
3. Know where the emergency stop buttons are positioned in the workshop. If you see an
accident at the other side of the workshop you can use the emergency stop button to
turn off all electrical power to machines.
4. Bags should not be brought into a workshop as people can trip over them.
5. When learning how to use a machine, listen very carefully to all the instructions given
by the teacher. Ask questions, especially if you do not fully understand.

3
6. Do not use a machine if you have not been shown how to operate it safely by the
teacher.
7. Always be patient, never rush in the workshop.
8. Keep hands away from moving/rotating machinery.
9. Use hand tools carefully, keeping both hands behind the cutting edge.
10. Report any damage to machines/equipment as this could cause an accident

 Tool Safety
In the laboratory room should be available the entire tool safety so that in the event of
an accident or emergency, it could be resolved quickly. These are safety tools that exist in the
laboratory. Make sure everything is available and you know where it is located.

 Safety In The Lab

Safety is a factor that should be a major concern in the activities of the laboratory, but
generally that for this to happen is quite neglected. We're paying attention to security work.
The terms of the security in the laboratory aiming to protect the good work in the lab itself, as
well as for security around/the environment.

A laboratory would be good fits with his role when accompanied by rules that applied
in the laboratory code of conduct. The slightest laboratory shall have discipline, because the
code of conduct will be very supportive towards the safety of themselves, other people and
the environment, as well as to support the smooth running of the activities of the laboratory
itself. Any student or other person who will be working in the lab should know the discipline
that applies in the laboratory.
