Step 0:
Contact Protector No pendulum action
The contact protector 11 attached to the machine
prevents unintentional contact with the saw blade
while working. Step I:
Small pendulum action
Sawdust Blower
Step II:
The sawdust blowing device directs a stream of air Medium pendulum action
at the saw blade. This prevents the cut line from be-
ing covered by sawdust while working. The air
stream can be adjusted to one of three levels with Step III:
adjustment lever 6: Large pendulum action
Low blower: For work with metals and
when using coolants and lubricants;
for use with dust suction!
The following basic recommendations are to be ob-
served:
Moderate blower; ❏ The finer and cleaner the cut edge should be, the
smaller the pendulum step selected should be or
switch off.
❏ For the working of thin material such as sheet
metal, switch off the pendulum action (Step 0).
High blower: For working with wood
and similar materials. ❏ In hard material such as steel, work with a small
pendulum action.
❏ In materials such as softwood and cutting in the
direction of the grain, the maximum pendulum
action can be used.
Pendulum Action Setting The optimal setting can be determined in practice.
